Had an email from SL Nissan saying oil change for my car was 48.88 till end of December. Got an oil change and tire change over. Last year 150 this year 220. When i asked why the difference, I was told parts like brakes have increased. I didn't buy any parts. I was charged 80 for the oil change and 100 for tire changed over . They said they balanced the tires but I never asked for it . I called to complain , talked to service manager and he said he wouldn't do anything for me when I asked for a partial refund. Never do business with them again . . Attitude was horrific . He didn't seem to give a crap. More
People should avoid this place like a plague. I bought a new Rogue and for several oil changes that I had, tire rotation was recommended and got charged until one day I caught them red-handed. I was told the break fluid should be changed frequently until finally I refused after a few changes. The service manager is out of this planet, and I cannot believe he is still working and robbing people at will. Each time I took my car for an oil change, they would recommend anything: break, fluids, ball join, tie rods, and you name it. And before I left the parking lot the car would show some serious issue. It s a dreadful experience. I took my car for light bulbs change, paid $60 dollars and only half the job was done. Only one bulb got replaced. There are no words to describe these people. I love Nissan car, but because of the worst service that I had gone through, I don’t think I would ever think to even touch any car that has a nissan tug on it. I feel so sorry for the people who still go there for a service and get robbed big time. Avoid this dealer as if it is COVID-19. More
I viewed a used car on their site advertised at $30,948. The salesman and I exchanged a few emails and I asked if there was any wiggle room on the price. He wrote back:” We provide our best price up front and save customers’ time on negotiation.” Okay, you’d conclude that $30,948 was the actual best upfront price. Right?. We’ll, the actual price was $36,157, almost 20% above the advertised price. Among the added charges were Vehicle Prep & Admin charge, an Invisitrak fee and they even added the $41.50 they paid for the Carfax report! Most of these are clearly cost-of-doing business charges that should either be included in the original advertised price or not be passed on to the buyer. Unfortunately these classic “bait and switch tactics” have become all too common in an industry rife with dishonesty and bottom of the swamp sleaze. Sadly, it’s time to call on government to introduce regulations to police the industry. More
I took my 2018 Leaf in for a recall. At the time, Chris Purdy asked for the ownership, saying it was necessary for the technician. I expressed concern at the time that I was handing over all of my valuable documents, but Mr Purdy assured me that he would take personal responsibility to make sure they all ended up back in my car. When the car was returned to me, I stupidly did not look in the glove compartment to ensure that everything was back. It was not. And Mr Purdy took absolutely no responsibility in the matter. I was told that I'd be reimbursed for the cost of the ownership, but they claimed that they never had the owners manual. Absolute lies, and exceptionally poor service. Having read some of these other reviews, I guess I should count myself lucky that all I lost was an owner's manual (although they are not easy to come by). If you can avoid this dealership, DO SO at all costs. They're all smiles and friendly until you need them to actually live up to their word. More

Chris Purdy is amazing! Both times I had issues with my Rogue, I brought it in to South London Nissan and Chris was great to work with. Never ever trust the service advisor (Jeff Symons was on my case), especially when you report or claim something. They don't record the issue for future reference, then you have to pay from your pocket inst my case), especially when you report or claim something. My new 2021 Kicks has dangerous issues and I almost crashed into a transport truck merging into traffic and my transmission wasn't working so I could accelerate over 95 kms. It was a close call. I had the misfortune of dealing with Stuart who is brutal to deal with. He's not an asset to the company. Mark McCarvell who I tried to get help from just ignored me and I'm stuck with a new car that has a transmission that is screwed up. It's dangerous to drive my car, but they don't care. The service manager is an arrogant jerk and thanks Mark McCarvell for completely ignoring my pleas for help. Shamefully. More
I had a very Bad experience at this Nissan location a couples of months ago. Had given my car for Starting Issue Diagnosis Scan as it had hard start and the Service Department - Service Advisor Chris Pur couples of months ago. Had given my car for Starting Issue Diagnosis Scan as it had hard start and the Service Department - Service Advisor Chris Purdy asked me to do 6 different things to have the Issue resolved. Infact the Diagnosis was never conducted on the Car even once for the Money I paid them. A Visual Human Logic Diagnosis was conducted, instead of System Scan. I am still wondering why was I asked to pay, for Diagnosis Scan, while it was never conducted. A total Rip off & not trust worthy, will not recommend South London Nissan Location to anybody for their Horrible & Granted Customer Service. More
Get a second opinion if the service department recommends any maintenance work other than an oil change and the manufacturers service schedule. It's a shame a major car dealership has to resort to unscrupulo any maintenance work other than an oil change and the manufacturers service schedule. It's a shame a major car dealership has to resort to unscrupulous practices. They unknowingly tried to sell a person with 31 years of automotive experience unneeded repair work. Oil changes should not be used to try and generate extra cash flow with unneeded miscellaneous maintenance. I understand most people don't have time to book another car appointment for a second opinion, but it can save you hundreds of dollars. More
