Great dealership with fast and friendly service! I was in the market to buy a new truck and seeing as I live in Sherwood Park and was always a Ford fan I would start looking at Sherwood Ford. Got to I was in the market to buy a new truck and seeing as I live in Sherwood Park and was always a Ford fan I would start looking at Sherwood Ford. Got to the dealership and started browsing at the trucks. I was approached by Coady he wasn't being pushy or anything just stopped by while I was in the lot looking, gave me his business card and told me if I had any questions or wanted to go for a test drive he would be happy to help me out. I found the truck I wanted gave Coady a call briefly explained the truck to him and ten minutes later he had one sitting at the front door waiting to go for a spin. We worked out all the details and I picked my truck up a week later. Great fast and efficient service. I like the fact of having a new truck but the whole sales process usually is time consuming which doesn't appeal to me. I know where I will be buying my trucks at from now on great job Coady and the team at Sherwood Ford!!! Highly recommended!! More

Then we had to fill a bunch a paper, signatures, and had to give 200$ deposit to do the credit application. We didn't really like Mr Patel's attitude.. I didn't felt confident from the beginning. He tols us he was going to give us news in 2 days maximum. Never called back. I had to give a call to my saleman 5 days after and told him I was about to change my mind. Called me back 5mins after and told me he had an approval but with a maximum.. that I could get the same car that I have right now or maybe an Escape. The Flex was the only car that I was looking for. So I went back and took my 200$ deposit. My saleman called me later that day to told me they had an other approval for us and that some girl in the finance department wanted to see us.. he didn't know anything about the new situation. So I told him to look for it and make sure we could get that car because the Flex was the only one we we're interested in and to call me back after that to scedule a time. He didn't called back. So I went to Freedom Ford the day after and got approved in 4 hours for the same exact car, same options, but in white, 10,000km less and 4000$ cheaper. They called is back the day after.. I told them I bought ine there and then they didn't stop calling me and my husband for a whole day. Total harassment, very annoying. I'm not blaming the saleman, he was awesome. That sucks for him. But there is a lack somewhere in their finance department. They wanted me to bring back my car at Freedom and promise they we're going to save me 1000$.. Guys sometime you have to accept that you've lost... 40,000$ is a pretty good loan, people are looking around to get the best deal they can. Thank you Freedom ford More
This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. Before the sale, the staff was helpful and acted very professional. It should have been no big deal as I was assured they had a lien release form from the manager. I live out of town and drove over an hour on a Saturday to come pick up the car. But when I got there I was told the form was locked up in an office. Regrettably I decided to purchase the car being told the issue would be dealt with promptly on Monday. After the money was in their hands they notified me that there was also only one key and another could be purchased for $300. In hindsight, that was a mistake on my end as I never should have assumed anything from this dealership. It then took two weeks for them to get the lien form using excuse after excuse and having them dodging calls while the car that I bought sat in my driveway. This is just a simple warning for anyone looking to buy from a "reputable" dealership. Make sure you have all your ducks in a row because once your money is in their hands you will be ignored and treated with no respect. More

Well I needed a new truck and the whole "buying" process was great. But after that when it came to service and warranty work it has been a nightmare. Getting you booked in for "warranty" wo "buying" process was great. But after that when it came to service and warranty work it has been a nightmare. Getting you booked in for "warranty" work that are all of a sudden packed, not to mention when I had only 2000k it sat on there lot for a month before they worked on it, not getting it back for a total of 5 weeks. They wouldn't disclose the issue, not call me and update me on my vehicle. Not one returned call, jut a call the day it was ready to pick it up. So when they asked about my service experience I made my complaints. The next day however I found more to be wrong, some electronics not working. I called and asked about the issues which they said couldn't be there fault. Brought it back and they simply refused to even look at it "since I made the complaint" had to take it to a seperate dealer to have it looked at which they stated when sherwood was working on it must have shorted out a few wires since a bunch of fuses were blown. Not to mention the tranny live thy didn't tighten up and was already leaking. Of course after the fact I find out people I know don't take there vehicles there to even get oil changed from sherwood park cause of poor service. More
Well, it happened again. Several months ago my wife and I bought a new F150 from Sherwood Ford and received the best customer service we have ever received at any Dealership. Just the other day we needed I bought a new F150 from Sherwood Ford and received the best customer service we have ever received at any Dealership. Just the other day we needed to book our truck in for its 8000km oil change and inspection. They had many time slots open that were convenient for us. We arrived early and Marni took us in immediately. She made sure we each had a hot beverage and quickly arranged for a shuttle for us. My wife and I went shopping for a bit, and before we knew it, our truck was ready. A shuttle quickly came to pick us up and brought us back to the dealership, and our truck was all ready to go. The awesome customer service we keep getting from Sherwood Ford is exactly why I highly recommend it to all my friends and family, and why I will buy my next vehicle there. Thanks again guys! More
Went in to buy new ford fusion hybrid. Salesman couldn't get the car to star. Came back after they fixed the problem.told him my intention was to get exactly what I wanted from the factory. He then proceeded to try to sell me a different vehicle that was in stock. I did not bite so he continued to tell me not to buy the hybrid. After three visits I only needed my wife to come and test drive the car as well and we would have a deal. Again couldn't get the car to start. I aged to but the cat because there was a deal on the car for 5000 of mrsp. I questioned the price and he called the vice president Kelly over and he verified the discount. I said he had a deal pending on my etudes test drive. I called back to verify the price and was told of course you where standing right there when my VP verified it. I said great I'll be in to sign the papers. So I went in and sat down to sign and at this point was told that there was a problem with the price and I would not recurve the discount of 5000. I replied this was unacceptable considering I had triple checked the price. I was told too bad. So I left very upset. I called the VP Kelly and he remembered verifying the price.he apologized and said he would sell me the car for cost. He said he would look up the price and call me right back. He never called back. So I called him and was never able to speak to him.I left numerous messages with no response. I then went to freedom ford and got the best price and service I could have imagined. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from Sherwood Ford. More
Tried to buy an Escape. We knew what we wanted, couldn't get any easier for the salesman. I asked for their bottom dollar and they started playing the waste my time game. They would lower the price by $100 then bring out the manager to say will you buy it today if... After the 3rd attempt at getting a price and the 3rd manager/$100/will you buy we walked out and bought a better equipped CRV at a lower price and without the games. I don't understand this approach as I think they must xxxx off and lose a lot of potential customers. More
Like most people, I've never walked out of a Dealership feeling like I won........until today. This past week my wife and I decided to trade in our family vehicle for a new Ford truck. We decided to try Sherwood Ford after hearing many good things about them. When we arrived, the staff was attentive and courteous without being pushy like other dealerships. It was refreshing. We were greeted by Chris the Sales Manager. Chris had a genuine interest in what we were looking for. He led us over to one of his Salesman, Sharbel, who immediately made us feel welcome and at home....without seeming pushy or phony. Sharbel helped us find the ideal vehicle for us, exactly what we wanted. As I was preparing myself for the old, "that's the best price I can do for you but you need to buy it today" speech, Chris came over to see how we were doing. He and Sharbel went off for a quick talk and some paperwork. When Sharbel returned, he showed us the price that he and Chris came up with, including the trade in price for our vehicle. When my wife and I saw the price they wanted, we were shocked! There was no need to ask if they could do better. Without consulting with my wife, (The Boss), I quickly agreed with the deal......before Sharbel could back out of it. LOL. It was obvious right then that Chris and Sharbel really were looking out for our best interest! We were very impressed. We then met with Robert from finance to do up the paperwork. He quickly and painlessly did up the boring paperwork while he and I exchanged stories and drank coffee. Robert helped us make some right decisions about all the confusing stuff, like undercoating and maintenance packages. He explained everything very carefully and made it easy to decide what we wanted and even what we didn't need. Again......looking out for our best interest. When the last of the paperwork was signed, we still couldn't believe the great deal we got, and how well we were treated. My wife and I truly feel like we made 3 new friends today. Would I recommend Sherwood Ford to friends and family? Absolutely! Since buying our new truck my in-laws went in and happily walked out with a new Ford Edge. I was so surprised when Sherwood Ford gave me a $750.00 for referring my in-laws to them. There is no doubt I will buy our next vehicle from Sherwood Ford. Thank you for all your help guys!!!!! More
