I was met by Ryan Babcock, who proceeded to take me through one of the most pleasant and informative car buying experience I can remember. It’s all too common to run into obnoxious car salesman/women who only want to get your signature and sale as fast as possible. Ryan Babcock proved to be a wonderful exception to that cliche,and he has ensured that I will be coming back to ICAR in the future. he guided me in the right direction to what kind of truck would suit my daily needs. One of the best customer service experinces ever! Everyone that we came in contact with at the Icar Thunder Bay was great to deal with and provided above and beyond customer service, However this not Everyone that we came in contact with at the Icar Thunder Bay was great to deal with and provided above and beyond customer service, However this not why I would recommend Icar, As a consumer in 2015 I expect that - However what I did not expect was how over the top and simply OUTSTANDING two individuals that we dealt with were, As mentioned before everyone we came in contact with was warm and welcoming, however the two that stand out the most for my wife and I were Arthur Ciddio and Ryan Babcock. As I did not spend as much time with Arthur as Ryan I will comment on his performance first, Arthur was very quick to make a warm rapport with my wife and I. The paper work and finance was done quickly, very professionally, and my favorite part of all - was that I felt like I had no worries and could trust him. He provided extensive knowledge and demonstrated to be more than capable of taking care of any financial questions we may have had along the way. Buying a truck is a rather big deal and the paper work/finical aspect is always scary in some degree but he took away any concerns that we had and laid everything on the table in very approachable and stress free way. Not to mention the price was great! Ryan Babcock, I was blown away by Ryan. In more ways than one, It was very easy to tell that he clearly enjoys the "people" aspect of his position, He consistently answered all of our questions, phone calls, and meetings with a smile and a very friendly demeanor. He was extremely knowledgeable on the all vehicles and with very little information given he was able to find us exactly what we were looking for. He also readily admitted when he did not know the answer one a few inquiries but was more than happy to find the answer - which he did in an extremely ecstatic manner. This sadly is a rate trait these days and Ryan sets the bar extremely high for anyone trying to excel in customer service. He was consistent with giving us daily updates on the truck while we were waiting for the paper work to be done and what was happening with our soon to be truck. After the truck left the lot he still continued to give amazing customer service with follow ups with both my wife and I so neither of us felt forgotten or lost in the process. Small things like that has made Ryan my "go to guy" when it comes purchasing a vehicle, He ensured that thing was taken care of. Over all the experience at Icar was great, and I believe that Arthur and Ryan deserve a huge kudos for their work. I want to buy another vehicle just to experience the true meaning of customer care again. More
