I was horrified to be left in a desparate s Five years ago, a deal I made at an Edmonton dealership for a Subaru Forester that suddenly went belly up. I was horrified to be left in a desparate situation of needing a new vehicle - fast. Didn't care for the second Edmonton Subaru dealership in Edmonton due to their aggressive sales tactics. Decided to take a chance and drive the 1 1/2 hour trip to Red Deer. Best thing I ever did. I couldn't believe the difference between my experience at Scott Subaru in Red Deer and the dealerships in Edmonton. The staff at Scott Subaru were warm, genuine, extrememly knowledgable and efficient. I was in my new Forester in no time. I was left wondering - why is it soo different in Edmonton? Fast forward to present day. My Forester unfortunately needed a big repair. The Edmonton dealership where I had been taking my vehicle for regular maintenance did not want to acknowledge my extended warranty. Scott Subaru was instrumental in helping me sort things out. I couldn't believe how far out of their way they went, (remotely from Red Deer!), to help. I owe them a huge debt of gratitude. They saved my hiney for a second time! Subarus are wonderful - I have never had such a great winter vehicle. If you are in the market for a Subaru, or need service on your Subaru, do yourself a favour. Avoid the hassle and headache of dealing with the Edmonton dealerships and just head straight to Scott Subaru in Red Deer. They truly are an exceptional group of people. More
