I had an amazing experience with Clay at Scott Subaru at time of purchase- the guy is amazing to deal with, and honest and open. He listens to what you are looking for and provided the perfect solutions! He has a genuine love for the product he sells and works hard for you. I recommend him 100 times over if you are looking to check out a Subaru! (Did i mention i absolutely love my new Crosstrek?) I also just had my first oil change and some warranty work done-- in and out in a flash and the staff at the front counter were absolutely fantastic! Helped me out with everything i needed and answered all of my ridiculous questions. Thanks guys!! More

Excellent Service Provided - worth the drive I came to Scott Subaru from Calgary on great advice from Clay Grenier. I had an expensive service job coming up for my car and with times the way the I came to Scott Subaru from Calgary on great advice from Clay Grenier. I had an expensive service job coming up for my car and with times the way the are was not looking forward to it. After talking to Clay he told me that they are more reasonably priced compared to the big cities. I was able to line up the service with a trip I was making up near Red Deer. It is great to see a salesman who cares about you and your car, that your car gets the service it needs and you are able to save $$$! Even though it was a busier day the service team handled me promptly and respectfully. They advised me it was a longer service and gave me a time frame it would be completed in and finished within it. I got the car back nice and clean inside, no plastic/cardboard or mess left inside. I even noticed a few days later that they had cleaned my whole engine which I didn't know was part of the service and really made my day! All in all a great experience, great to see a dealership that cares and actually tries to help save you some money. Definitely worth the trip for me! More

Prior to coming to this dealership, I visited 2 Calgary dealerships before I discovered Scott Subaru in Red Deer. Adam is very knowledgeable about Subaru products and from the first conversation on the phone, he was able to answer any questions I had about the car. When I went to Red Deer to meet with him to discuss some numbers, I wanted to to test drive the car once more (had taken a test drive in Calgary before) and possibly test another car from a friend's recommendation. Adam had another customer at the time so he could not test drive with me, but he let me go out and also let me know where to go for good roads to truly test the vehicle. Adam was extremely transparent and let me know that I may not get as good of a price from Scott, but the service I receive will be better than dealerships in Calgary. Unfortunately, I would have to say that is was incorrect about that. The price that Adam and I agreed on was lower than the prices from both Calgary dealers by a fair margin and the service was definitely better than the dealers in Calgary. Adam did not pressure me into buying the car at all. I dealt with Kathie, the Business manager who explained all the add-ons that were available for the car, but again, did not pressure me into buying any of them. She was also able to accommodate a last minute change from financing the car to paying in full. At pick up, Kathie had all the paper work prepared and ready to go. Adam explained the features of the car very thoroughly. Would definitely recommend this dealership to others. More
Two words: GREAT JOB! I came in to Scott Subaru because I wanted a 2017 Subaru WRX. I have learned from a few of my friends and from my research that Scott Subaru offers ex I came in to Scott Subaru because I wanted a 2017 Subaru WRX. I have learned from a few of my friends and from my research that Scott Subaru offers excellent customer service, and I can say that they were right. I went to them a couple of months prior and Adam from sales first greeted me and showed me the wrx they had in stock. Even during this initial interaction, I noticed the difference from other dealerships. I made it clear that time that I was just looking and will not buy for another couple of months. Although other dealerships may tell you "Why not get it today?" and pressure you to buy that day, he just gave me his card and went our way. Fast forward to present, I came back to him to ask if they had a 2017 WRX base in world rally blue. He said they did not have any, but a couple is on its way. Although at the end I was not able to get a base world rally blue, instead I got a sport model in white which I am really happy about as well. I can only say positive things about Adam. First, I would like to thank him for being transparent from the start. The first deal that he gave me was already acceptable and was within my price range. Furthermore, he was able to give me a couple of more perks after some fun haggling, which I am thankful for. Second, unlike other dealership who will pressure you to buy because they NEED your business, Adam showed that he wanted my business by showing that he cares and will do his best to accommodate what I want. Lastly, I am a person who prefers face-to-face conversations over text or phone or e-mail, Adam did a great job in accommodating this by being flexible with his schedules even if I just drop in. Also, there were a couple of times where he was actually off but was still able to meet me in the dealership to talk about our deal. I dealt with the two finance ladies, Carmen and Kathie. I first dealt with Carmen and she laid out everything to me with the fees and lease agreements. Although I was already set with what I want with the numbers, she showed me a couple of different other leasing options. Carmen was well organized and transparent as well. I was first scared due to other dealerships having hidden fees, however Carmen explained to me all the fees so I knew what I was paying for and where it came from. Kathie took over for a couple of meetings and during the pick up day of my car. Kathie had everything prepared when I got there, however there were a couple of errors with the paperwork that she had prepared. However, with the amount of work that needs to be done it is understandble that there will be mistakes. Kathie was able to fix everything after I pointed out the errors though. Also, as a customer, you need to read over everything anyways. I believe that as long as you come in knowing what has been agreed upon, paperwork mistakes are easy to fix, and like I said Kathie was able to fix it right away. It would have been nice if everything went smoothly and did not cause any delays, however we don't live in a perfect world. Overall, my experience with Scott Subaru is an amazing one. Especially this being the first time I ever bought a brand new car, I felt that it was a lot easier than what other people might say. Scott Subaru is a family-oriented dealership who will sell you a vehicle, not because they NEED to sell a vehicle, but instead to earn your business and build relationships. Everyone in their team were friendly and welcoming. I have already recommended them to a couple of my friends looking to purchase a vehicle, and will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new vehicle. Plus they sell SUBARUs, you can't go wrong with that. More

Impressive From Start to Finish! My husband Bruce and I were in the market for a new vehicle and we are quite familiar with the Red Deer area dealerships but we had never tried a Suba My husband Bruce and I were in the market for a new vehicle and we are quite familiar with the Red Deer area dealerships but we had never tried a Subaru before. We did the research and noted the consistently excellent reviews of the Subaru vehicles and the loyalty of Subaru's customers. We were interested in the Crosstrek so we decided to go for a test drive with our salesperson, Clay. That was a fun experience! Clay showed us everything this unique vehicle has to offer, including how the Crosstrek can handle the gravel roads, and we basically were sold right there. But it wasn't just the vehicle that sold us but also the fact that Clay was extremely thorough, straightforward and honest. There was no pressure or "sales talk", just someone who genuinely believed in the vehicle. When we traded in our vehicle, we got a very fair deal without the stressful haggling. Also, when we picked up the vehicle in the showroom, we were impressed by how Clay and the managers were waiting there to welcome us, shake our hands and thank us for our business. A very impressive experience from start to finish. Now we understand the loyalty of Subaru customers! More
GREAT EXPERIENCE... until pick-up day The reason I went to Subaru was because I had went to two other dealerships but didn't get a great deal on what I was wanting in my first new vehicle, The reason I went to Subaru was because I had went to two other dealerships but didn't get a great deal on what I was wanting in my first new vehicle, nor the experience I believe first-time buyers should have. I initially called and spoke with Adam Choi just to ask if they had any new vehicles within a certain price point. The plan was to come by the next day so I could meet with a sales agent who can give me more information. I'm glad I went the same day instead and dealt with him as he was supposedly off the next day. Adam is very knowledgeable, transparent, VERY patient, no-pressure kind of sales agent, warm to his customers and very polite. I can really go on and on about the other many good things I noticed about him, but just in a nutshell, Adam went above and beyond to accommodate all of what I wanted and needed in my first new vehicle. What really closed the deal was how he handled the situation and how he made it an enjoyable experience for me as a first-time buyer. I can easily contact him with any questions I had and he would respond promptly. Ernesto also played a vital role in this amazing experience. I had the pleasure of talking with him a couple times when Adam was away. He is a very grounded man with a genuine heart to serve his customers. Both him and Adam made sure that I had a courtesy vehicle that I can use when I started my job in May 1st as I had already sold my old car and the new one is still en route to RD. Carmen was also part of the team who explained the financial side of this experience. She made sure I understood the math behind the prices on my leasing contract. She was very organized which I appreciated, especially as a first-time buyer who wants everything laid out for them. It was unfortunate that she was not there when I picked up my vehicle last Friday. I would've loved if the same customer service I described above followed through until the day I picked up my vehicle. Unfortunately, that was not the case as it quickly became a VERY stressful situation. In a nutshell, the financial manager I dealt with that day was not fully understanding what I was wanting to happen (money-wise). She was quite confused even though I was in the day before discussing the same matter. She evidently became frustrated, which as a customer, you would react in the same way as well. Statements were made on her end, leading to my uncle to walk out as he felt disrespected. I stayed in to finish the deal but I believe this situation was handled poorly and in an unprofessional manner. I came in very excited for my new vehicle but came out feeling unhappy and dissatisfied. I honestly still took my mom's car when I had to go out quickly today (Sunday) because the vehicle I bought just resonates a bad experience which ruined what was supposed to be an exciting event for me. Overall, I still gave the dealership a fair rating because, like I said earlier, they definitely went above and beyond what I was expecting but just lacked the amazing customer service at the end by one of their employees. I would still recommend Scott Subaru to my friends (which I have spoken highly about since interacting with Adam (WOOHOO!!) but I would also advise them to make sure they know HOW to explain what they want, money-wise, and maybe write it out on a paper to make sure it is very clear. More
