I chose to get the work done at Scarborough Nissan because my boyfriend who works for a legitimate dealership said dealerships are the way to go. Biggest mistake I've ever made. Kirk, the main body shop guy, spoke to me as if I was incompetent and kept me in the dark about the status of my car. My car took an extra 2 days and I was not offered a rental for my inconvenience. Anyways, I got my car back finally and the work looked good so I accepted it and moved on. Then I heard a rattling sound in the door and had to return the next day because they didn't put my door back together properly. Fixed that after 30 minutes of arguing and Kirk rolling his eyes and xxxxxxx his teeth at me (yes, this actually happened). Fast forward 3 months, I had been inspecting my car and noticed a ripple in the paint on the bumper so I called Kirk to let him know (warranty and all) and he agreed the paint was defective when he saw it for himself. I was offered a rental and the work was supposed to take 24 hours (express job apparently) and I was supposed to be at the dealership the next morning for 11am. When I returned to the dealership the next morning, I inspected my bumper and noticed that they did a sloppy job putting it back on after they painted it and smudged the paint under the right light and the top coat was peeling under the left light. I informed Kirk and was belittled and told that he expected this from me and that the smudge was in fact a rock chip that he said he wouldn't fix which makes absolutely so sense to me because if it had fully been repainted like he said, the paint would have covered the rock chip. So I asked for a manager and waited 20 minutes to speak to one. No one came. Kirk finally told me he'd send the car back to get repainted and sent me on my way with the rental again. An hour later he text messaged me while I was at work to call him. When I called, he told me that I was wasting his time and that he would pay another dealership to paint my bumper because I'm never going to be satisfied there. Never in my life have I been spoken to with such disrespect and disregard by a "professional" dealership. I went to go pick up my car and asked to speak to the manager. Peter, the service manager, came and asked what he could do for me. I told him I needed my car keys so I could drive my car to another dealership of my choice so he could pay for my bumper to be painted. He was very confused (Kirk obviously didn't tell him anything) and told me to explain to him what the issue was. I took him outside and showed him my bumper, showed him the peeling top coat and he told me to take the rental and that he would speak with Kirk and call me. I mentioned to him that the way Kirk spoke to me was disgusting and he completely brushed it off. So I left, and 2 and a half hours after not hearing from him (5:30 at this point) I went back with my boyfriend to show him the bumper because he wanted to see what I was talking about and my car was no where to be seen. I went inside and asked Peter where my car was and he told me he sent it back to the body shop (without my permission and without consulting with me first) and that the car would be ready the next day around 3 or 4. After no phone call the next day, I drove over after work and made it there at about 5:15 only to be told my car still wasn't ready and that he couldn't tell me when I would be able to pick it up. So now I'm still waiting for my vehicle but I must say I will never in my life go back to this dealership for any reason at all. Very unprofessional, disrespectful, no concern for your time, don't keep you in the loop, do poor work and no apologies. Worst customer service experience I've ever had and I pray that the person reading this has the sense to not go there. More

I got there before 5 and had to wait until 5:10 for Aaron to talk to me. He said I was too late and would not provide a shuttle. I explained that I called, and he would not budge. I was upset with the fact that the car was not able to be done, but with the fact that they would not honour their word. Aaron was not at all pleasant to speak with: his attitude was uncaring and disrespectful. My days at Nissan are done. More

I’ve checked both bulbs were good before I bought it in, but still they replaced the blub!! I discovered the head light aim was off when I got home – 3 feet higher on one side. Brought it back, Service Rep – Anthony deny and make every excuse Not to fix the problem … bulb not sit properly, your lens is fog so can not focus, headlight aim was not high, its how it should be … But its NOT - According to the owner’s manual, both light should be same level off the ground, aiming at 25 feet away on a predefined pattern; NOT 5 feet away from a garage door!! Think again if you assumed dealer used proper procedure and part for your car ??!!! A separate incident months earlier, I took my battery off the car, brought it to the Part counter at this dealer asking to buy a same replacement. The “Part Expert” brought a new battery half the size and rating, telling me that’s the one…I asked him to re-check, since comparing them side-by-side anyone can see they were very different. I insisted that was NOT the right part, even its listed on the computer …. Turned-out they were Wrong!! So, just image you ask them to replace it for you at this place!! More

We had to negotiate strongly, but eventually came to a fair price. Staff were pleasant to talk to and not too pushy. Even at 1030pm, 90mins after closing, everyone was cheery and not rushing us out the door. They took their time with my wife and I and answered all out questions. More

I made an appointment for 10:30am and had been told when booking the appointment that it would take 2-3 hours and it would be no problem to shuttle me to a location within the shuttle boundaries. I arrived on time for my appointment and was told that 10:30 was just an appointment to "check in", not to have the car serviced at that time. Apparently all an appointment means is that you get priority over walk-ins. They said it could be hours more. I was also told it could be an hour or more before they could shuttle me anywhere as the shuttle had recently left and they had no idea how long it would be. This dealership shows zero respect for customers' time. Like most people, I could not just leave the car with no idea how long I may be waiting there - perhaps all day, so I had no choice but to leave. I did not even receive an apology from the employee I was dealing with - I was spoken too as if I was an idiot for not understanding that appointments do not mean that the car will be dealt with in a timely manner. Horrible experience. I will never return to this dealership. More

Alison didn't bother to check if they had the part in stock before she issued the work order and retained the car for being serviced the same day. Later on after about 5 hrs, I received a phone call from stock before she issued the work order and retained the car for being serviced the same day. Later on after about 5 hrs, I received a phone call from a different person just to be told that they just discovered that and the part need to be ordered first. Their attitude was on the line, come and pick your car and bring it back tomorrow ! It was the poorest experience I've had in the past ten yrs. No concern for my time, for not waisting my time. More

They would not offer a test drive unless an offer was made. Charles is a good guy, if you do deal here go to him. Joe (sales manager) is incredibly rude and basically says if you dont buy your car from him someone else will. I actually walked out of the dealership after feeling my intelligence was insulted by him. Other managers apologized on his behalf, but once you have that kind of experience its hard to forget it. On top of that, when I called to speak to the General Manager about my experience, I was told its not "their policy" to give the General Managers contact info, which raises more questions on my part. I would not trust a dealership that will not let you speak to their General Manager. Personally if Im spending that kind of money on something I would hope to get the service that goes with it. I really hope this review causes them to lose some business, as I do not feel that their focus is customer service Check out Agincourt Nissan or Bramtpon North Nissan, great staff great service! More
