I was not impressed at all with the warranty side only to find out later it was not the warranty process but a bad employee, once this and other complaints were addressed by the manager it appears to run very smoothly. A special thanks to 2 members there Chris (GM) and Jeremy (service writer) who both go above and beyond my expectations to assist and get me back on the road More

Since buying my car 2 months ago it has been in the shop 4 times, all related to the air conditioning. The first time I was told nothing was wrong. Had to take it back two days later because it was still acting up. They replaced a line. Within a few days it stopped working again and the work order said a line was replaced. This time around the car has been in the shop two days with no communication. I called yesterday to ask about progress and was told they would know more at noon today. Called to check back and they said they were not sure what was happening and they would call me. Did not hear anything back from them. Completely baffled as to what the difficulty is in keeping a customer informed. I have tried to get a loaner each time my car was kept longer than a day and they only had one available one time. In addition, they used to always wash the car when it was in for service and have not done so for any of the four appointments. I had dealt with VW Saskatoon a few years back, before it changed owners, and it was great. Can say that I will not be returning to VW Saskatoon for any service appointments, apart from warranty work. I had a Honda previously and the service there is amazing!!! VW Saskatoon has been nothing but a hassle, I have had lost wages due to the incompetency, and frustrated with having to take my car in every week for the same issue. My experience with the service department at VW Saskatoon does not instill much confidence in their ability. More

So far, they have booked 4 post sales appointments for me all except one were a disaster. The first two appointments, the agent was not there or did not have time for me. They had not given me a call in advance to let me know that the agent is not available despite setting up an appointment. The forth time, they booked an appointment to program my second key. The new key was in their shop for at least two weeks. They said an entire day is needed to program the key, otherwise I preferred to sit they until it is done. I dropped the car in the morning. I received a call in the afternoon that the car will be ready to pick up in 45 minutes. I went back in 2 hours after this call to give them enough time and to make sure finally this gets done. As I was arriving in the dealership, I received a call from VW on my cell mentioning that the key they had was a wrong one. Knowing that they had the key well in advance, I find it quite surprising that they could not check if it was the right one. Or at least when I went there in the morning or sometime along the way, they could have let me know it was wrong. However, they called me to say it will be ready and as I am arriving there 6 hours after I had dropped the car, someone calls to say it was wrong. In addition, I have asked for a remote starter and block heater to be installed on my vehicle. They had missed to tell me at the first place that there was not a block heater on the car, which is standard equipment in SK. It is now three months since I asked them to order these and I have yet to hear from them about any update. I am worried that they will get back to me after the winter. The worst thing is that they do not seem to care and that is why there is no hope that the quality will improve. I like the car but it is quite something to deal with the dealership in Saskatoon. Tim, in sales, took his time to show us several vehicles, listened to the features that we wanted & found the make that met every one of them. Jordan, in finance, was also extremely friendly and helpful with a swift and painless purchase. While in the dealership we had the pleasure of meeting several other friendly staff members that went out of their way to say hello. Our experience at Saskatoon Volkswagon was absolutely wonderful. We felt valued and walked away with a vehicle we are very happy with! More

On paper they told us the vehicle was eligible for a significant discount (being that it was old stock). This was great news and we really liked the car. When we got into the business office, they took away half of the discount saying the discount was only eligible if we went through our own bank. We thought the terms were based on dealer financing. So sad. I just wish they were more clear up front. I hope that this was simply a matter of miscommunication and not intentional. I really do hate this business of writing arbitrary numbers on blank pieces of paper that really don't mean anything. I want to see the vehicle invoice, price, incentives, and finance terms. I do not like playing number games. Why does it have to be so hard? More
Unorganized, Rude, and Crooks! We have bought several vehicles from this dealership over the past 5 years. The sales team is wonderful, however the service team leaves something to be desired. The service staff are rude and completely disorganized. We have been charged for services and supplies that we never received (AdBlue), we have been charged for courtesy vehicles that were supposed to be no charge, we have been told that we have to pay for the labor on repairs under recalls/TSB's for replacement. We have also been told that the dealership would only replace a defective part once under warranty, and after that we were responsible for paying for it. We have even been told by one staff member when we have a problem..."What do you want me to do about it?" We have issued complaints now to VW Canada. After rebooking a second time to get repairs done (because they gave out our courtesy vehicle the first time), when we came in and were promised a car, they then figured out that they lost the keys to the courtesy car and had to take the service managers truck. This has to be the worst experience one could have. Absolute nightmare and they do nothing to remedy the situation once you point it out. Beware! More
Incompetent service centre run by incompetent people! Avoid at all costs! I took my car here (huge mistake) for a cold start problem. I was expecting professional service at $145/hr and boy was I wrong. Paid $500 for a diagnosis and told me the repairs were almost $600 to fix the problem. They then gave me a huge list of "other" things wrong with my car. This should have been a huge red flag for me as in retrospect I realized they are just looking for ways to make huge amounts of money off their customer. Anyways I asked them if they fixed my cold start problem and verified it, "oh yes yes yes" next day after getting my car back. My car still has the same problem. what a waste of time and money! The service manager used to run the service dept at Canadian Tire and seems to have recruited former employees from there. If you must go to a VW service centre then I advise you to go to another city. I feel this place has been turned into an incompetent Crappy Tire! If i would have known this prior I would have never taken my car here. Oh and one of the repairs they suggested was to replace my parking brake cable and when I picked up my car they told me the rear calipers broke when replacing it, but it's my fault not theirs. took my money, never fixed my car and broke more things on my car. Do you need a bigger warning then that? They did give me $100 off the thousands I wasted, what great guys! More

Our expectation was that because we were buying the most expensive VW vehicle, the service and follow up would be professional and customer -centered. Whenever we brought the vehicle in for service, the waits were always long, and never any loaner cars available. We expected better for a $65,000 vehicle. All in all, we loved the Touareg, and despite the service department issues thought about purchasing a new one. Then we discussed a new purchase with the manager and his son . The manager came across as pompous and condescending. Thus we traded our a Touareg in for a Porsche Cayenne at a different dealership -one that provides excellent customer service. Bottom line, we loved the VW vehicle but found dealing with this dealership to be no FFUN. More
