Worst experience ever get everything in writing If I had the chance to return my used Sante Fe I would, and after returning my vehicle drive the extra miles to either Moose Jaw or Prince Albert. I had heard that this dealership was bad but didn't believe the comments were true. Promises were made and were not included in the deal because they were not recorded on paper or was told that the particular piece is not always included in vehicles. Asked for the engine compartment to be washed when detailing the car it wasn't. Thought I would ask for a couple of coffee mugs to the sales guy he said he would see what he could do, asked where they were when I went to pick up the vehicle and the finance people stated if it wasn't in the sales contract forget it, but they would be happy to sell me a couple, so much for the word of a sales guy. The promise of $1,000 dollars off my best deal even had it in writing was never followed through and was told that the program was finished end of October and yet it still appears on the website with a very tiny fonted disclaimer. Complained to management got nothing in return in fact Internet sales manager would not return calls after being told they would be getting back to me within a couple of days. My advice stay away and try another dealer More

The staff at Saskatoon Hyundai listened to my complaints in a respectful and professional manner and endeavored to find a solution. Several alternatives were explored and ultimately my vehicle was repaired to my satisfaction. Of particular note are: Salesman, Patrick Laplante who continued to explore options even when there was no possibility of a sale of a new vehicle; Mike Myers who did his best with regard to financing and became the point man for follow-up and finally, Amir Dedic, Service Manager who supervised the repairs. A 'free' check of the wheel alignment was offered and accepted, which the jaded side of me 'knew' would turn into a much needed wheel alignment... much to my surprise the alignment was found to be fine and no further work required. The sales staff had just finished their meeting and were assisting with blowing up the balloons for the day. One of the finance staff was on the floor and I asked her if I could talk to a sales staff. She said "sure" and within a few minutes she came back with a FEMALE (I am a female). Well Jaime-Lynn and I hit it off right away. I have had so many negative experiences with male sales staff at other dealerships (I found the men to be so condescending). JL made me feel right at home and listened to what I had to say. She was obviously very knowledgeable about the vehicles. When I decided I had found the vehicle for me, I called my husband as I wanted to ensure that he fit in it (he is very tall). While we were waiting for him to arrive, JL very quickly found some common ground for us to chat about. She is an absolute gem!! More

And 2nd week goes bye and still no call again so i decided to call and he offered to send me a list of a certin car with different km on it. Funny i was going to ask him this time for it. Well... He didnt send after he said he would.... Called the next day during the end of the day and he tryed saying he sent it. So he said he would send it again.... No suprise he didnt or the next day. They really know how to treat thier customers with care *cough* *cough* save yourself the headach. More

Friendly, professional staff. Ease in scheduling service appointments This is for routine service appointments - usually very good and painless. They do try to push the transmission and engine flushes, but they do take 'no' ok. That said, we have had less several than good experiences with the new car sales staff. The last time (2012/12) , the used sales manager came up with a totally unrealistic low-ball appraisal of my trade-in (another Hyundai SUV) and the final trade-in value was still low. A previous time (2010/01), there was quite an argument when the new SUV arrived at the dealership without some of the options that had been ordered as part of the deal. The argument about what options should actually have been on it was almost ugly and, to please my wife, I gave in and paid for the items with Hyundai coughing up minor change for the installation. Overall, we like the service department, but are not very happy with the new sales department. More

And I certainly wasn't disappointed as I found Rebecca to be knowledgable about the product, professional and personable. Although I had some serious mechanical problems with the vehicle due to manufacturing defects, the service department was efficient in dealing with the matter. The matter was resolved in a way that exceeded my expectations. The post sale service form Rebecca has been exceptional. I am very happy with my Santa Fe Limited and enjoy driving it more than any other vehicle I have ever owned. More
Good Cars, Bad Sales Tactics This place brings to mind all the bad words one normally associates with car salesmen: dodgy, shifty, slimy, fishy, etc. Most of the sales people I've This place brings to mind all the bad words one normally associates with car salesmen: dodgy, shifty, slimy, fishy, etc. Most of the sales people I've dealt with here have been very aggressive which I find extremely annoying when trying to spend 20+ grand. There are some decent ones. We've had trouble with them offering thousands less for trade in's than they are worth. We've had trouble with them "forgetting" or "not noticing" that Hyundai issued mid-month rebates on a certain car which would have made the car thousands less. We've got the price of a vehicle knocked off a couple grand just basically by asking and trying to leave. Hyundai makes good cars, but if you're buying here definitely bargain hard and double check all your numbers because they certainly play the (annoying) game. Also, you get charged through the nose for what I can tell is just a block heater and mud flaps. More
