Worse Car Shopping Experience I love Nissan vehicles but this dealer is by far the worse I've dealt with! Horrible and overpriced oil change I took my 2014 Nissan Murano SL into Royal Oak Nissan for a simple Oil Change. They quickly told me that I needed a Service Package B, which would be I took my 2014 Nissan Murano SL into Royal Oak Nissan for a simple Oil Change. They quickly told me that I needed a Service Package B, which would be around $249.99. If I did not get it done immediately, it would void my warranty. Plus, they ended up charging me $275.00 instead, due to 'shop charges'. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO ROYAL OAK NISSAN. GO on Youtube and learn how to do the inspections yourself, and simply go to Mr. Lube for an oil change, and save your $$$$ More
$495 for Nitrogen for lifetime and No service. We bought Nissan from This dealership. in Oct 2015. I was charged $495 for Nirogen for lifetime. We had very bad experience dealing with this dealership So i decided not to use them for surviving my car. When I went to other Nissan dealership they said they do not honour the service contract so I asked Royal Oak NIssan to return the money they charged $495 for Nitrogen. They not only refused to refund money but they said they haven't done anything wrong and since i signed the contract they would not return the money. They are not providing the service yet they are keeping $495 for nitrogen in the tire. These people are not only dishonest but rotten to the core specially General Manager Jason Bander. Lied on the recommendations, never followed up Shady. Went in for an oil change, came out with a recommendation for many things, including a recommendation to replace the windshield because it Shady. My windshield was brand new 4 months ago and is in immaculate condition. When I went back in to ask about it I was told to call the manager on Monday. Shady practice, I won't be trusting anything they say and will take the extra time to another establishment for my maintenance. They do every trick in the book to inflate the sales price I am finished with this dealership. I was not impressed from the moment I paid for the car. I had asked them to price the car with 3M, after I had pai I am finished with this dealership. I was not impressed from the moment I paid for the car. I had asked them to price the car with 3M, after I had paid for it they then said I would need to pay extra for the 3M. The sales manager tried to make up for this by charging for 3M at cost (how do I know if it was at cost) and giving me two free oil changes. he also promised to get things right going forward. Within 6 months I needed a new front wind shield, when I went in to get it done they had ordered the wrong glass, I had to take another day off work for their error. They also offer express oil changes where Nissan state that if it is not done in less than 30 minutes your next one is free.... they have never met the 30 minute promise in 3 oil changes and they have never offered the next one free. The service manager pulls an unwritten car wash rule if you ask about it. Finally when you go in for a service they are the masters of overselling, they quote Nissans rule that all of Canada is classed as a "Harsh Environment service Schedule". I get this for oil changes but not brake fluid. After giving this place 1.5 years of my business I am tired of them and was it any of the above that did this...No.... It was the argumentative email chain with the Service Manager (Craig Scott) that finally pushed me over the edge. He single handedly lost my business to this dealership. More

I bought a Nissan from Royal Oak Nissan on Sept 3 my first new car in 30 years. Was very happy that I got a very good deal with Henry working hard to find a deal. Our agreement was I pay final price of 26950 with extended warranty for 5 years including GST final price out of door. With all the happiness I signed a document they call it tentative yellow bill of sale with Henry and paid $1000 deposit with agreement that I will be back in 3 days to get my Nissan Rogue with $4000 Draft and insurance policy. When I went to sign final deal with Kevin he had a final bill of sale ready and he asked me o sign few documents. When I noticed that there was $1500 for extended warranty was added on I asked explanation and I was told for the Billing purpose they have to do it and assured me that It was included in price that I was quoted by henry and it is important if you wan to sell a car this will be important. initial plan was to pay for 60 months with 4.99% interest when I asked for 72 months what would it be and I was told it would be same so instead of taking 60 months I took 72 months open loan. My payment was recalculated at $197 biweekly. and then we agreed to add extra winter package and two way remote starter for additional $ 2888 so 25640 + 2888 extra ( Remote tarter + Winter protection package) + 1426 ( 5 % GST) ---------------- 29954 Final Price including everything I wanted in my car. - 5000 Down payment ----------------- 24954 Finannce from Nissan Canada Still Very happy that I bought Nissan Rogue from Royal Oak Nissan. Few days later I found I can get netter interest deal from my bank to borrow on my house equity. So I called NIsaan and asked kevin Bander (Finance) to inquire about outstanding balance on my loan. I was told that there is a 90 day period before you can buyout cash. Fortunately I got a letter from Nissan Finance welcoming me and congratulating me for buying a Nissan Rogue. When I decided to inquire regarding my balance I was told it would be 26344. It was little off by $1500 compare to my calculation above. So I looked at my bill of sale carefully and realize that $1500 that was suppose to be included in total price was actually added to final price and my amount finance from Nissan Canada was 26547 so went to Royal Oak Nissan to discuss this with Henry thinking this was this an honest mistake?? Upon arriving Henry asked me to see somebody from finance department Kevin was not avaialble so I met with other fellow (Forgot to take name) . After 30 mins of discussion he was telling me that my calculation above is completely wrong so he printed out based on price we discussed with henry and came with $ 23450 when I asked explanation why is $1550 added to calculation and when I said my calculation was $ 21950 then.he decided to do some more calculate with the accounting calculator. And then he said that based on $ 204 month 60 months you are required to pay $ 26520. Then I asked thats exactly I am saying if based on my calculation aboveTotal price 29954- down payment 5000= 24954 if you subtract that from $26550- 24954 = (1596) that is extra $1500 (extended warranty) + $3.59 interest ( $97) for 27 days. Still arguing with finance guy and asking did I got charged $1500 extra for extended warranty he did not want to give me an answer saying my calculations are wrong so I decided to end with him and asked to speak with Manger ( Moe Nasser) It only gets better with Manager. He was completely unprofessional did not asked what is my name ,greet or offer to sit and told me he is listening and he will be doing his work on the computer. When I explained to him that there seems to be a honest mistake that I was charged $1500 extra for extended warranty which was suppose to be included based on our rough copy that I and henry had. Thats were he took my contact and punched in numbers and said it is exactly right and came up with number that on $204 monthly payment 60 months it should be $ 26520 and there is nothing wrong with it. When I showed him my calculation that based on my calculation It should be $ 24954 he asked to see Henry with tentative agrement yellow paper and said the Yes I was charged for the extended warrant and based on Henry's paper $204 does not include extended warranty. When I showed unofficial calculations done on rough page( I have a picture it) before we proceeded to buy a car shoeing the extended warranty mentioned on that paper was not reflected on the paper i signed and paid down $1000 payment. Upon asking to reconfirm that mistake was made by Henry on the paper, he did not want to confirm. So I said politely this is an honest mistake by Henry and me and I signed it so legally I am bound to pay for it. What I was asking for is that anyway this mistake can be ratified and you can revert the charge for the extended warranty. The answer no from Manger Moe Nasser was yes "UNFORTUNATELY NOTHING CAN BE DONE NOW" Then Henry asked him again it was not included in that price he confirmed it. When I asked Henry to come out and discuss with me he was very apologetic and said he was very sorry about the unfortunate situation but no apology. and he can not do anything more and he has tried everything he could but ultimate decision is made ny the manager. One more point according to Kevin there is a 90 day period for cash buyout. According to Nissan canada open loan can be paid out anytime and there is no waiting period and I was advised that Delars do this to get more interest out of you. "JUST BE WARE" One month ago I was very happy that I bought Nissan from Royal Oak Nissan a " trust worthy company" I believe they are as crook as any car dealer in the world and have lost my faith in them I. In my previous post I said they were the best in business. I take back every word of it. Henry, Kevin and Nasser I hope you all have children today o home and explained to them what you do for leaving. I took my 9 year old Son with see all this and explain to him on the way back there are No Honest Car Delers and World and he has to be very very very careful about signing anything without understanding it in full detail. and explained to him that we were cheated out of $1500. so he can not go for his Hockey Tournament this year so that their children and family can enjoy!!!!!! $1500 worth of happiness. Worst possible experience I had shopped for a Nissan Rogue for some time and found the right car with the right features at Royal Oak Nissan. The most important feature to me, I had shopped for a Nissan Rogue for some time and found the right car with the right features at Royal Oak Nissan. The most important feature to me, which I stated very clearly, was that it be AWD. The salesman assured me that this Rogue was and after test driving it, I decided to purchase. I negotiated a price I was happy with, filled out all the paperwork, and as it was a cash sale, wrote a cheque. Made arrangements to pick up the next day. About an hour later, I was at home pleased with my purchase and I get a call from the dealership, They had sold me a FWD, when we all believed it to be AWD. Instead of offering me a car of equal or greater value with the features I paid for, they tried to coerce me into paying more money for a car with yes, a few extra features, but more km. Rather than apologizing and doing their best to fix the situation, I was bombarded with calls and argued with before having to go back and pick up the cheque and not get a car. Completely unacceptable service. More
