I had started out wanting to purchase a used truck and quickly moved into wanting one of the remaining 2017 Dodge 1500. I ended up in a purchasing battle over 1 specific truck and was unable to end up with that truck. Rick along with his team at Rocky Dodge were able to work out a second deal on a different truck, one of which I think everyone could walk away from happy with the outcome. Rocky Mountain Dodge worked with me as a customer and it never seemed like you were just another customer to sell a vehicle to. They were both accommodating (staying late to meet with me as I had to leave at the end of work in Calgary and they close at 6:00pm) and personable which made the overall experience with Rocky Mountain Dodge a top notch encounter. Poor Experience Things started out good in the beginning, Ashley was helpful with most of the questions we had. We never received some paper work she said she would send but not a huge deal. A few days prior to arriving at the dealership we had noticed the price of the vehicle we had put a deposit on had been lowered. We met with the finance employee when we arrived and he wasn't aware of the price drop and still had the original amount on our papers, he then got it approved to drop the price to what they had it listed for. We were also not told ahead of time that they had added a protection plan onto our bill until the bill of sale was in front of us, which was kind of a surprise. We were given a free 3 month subscription for Sirus radio as a gift for purchasing with Ashely but the vehicle we bought didn't even offer Sirius Xm, therefore was useless for us. The vehicle was also only half full of gas when we picked it up, which considering we had a 4.5 hour drive home after driving to pick the vehicle up and having to fuel it up before even leaving town wasn't very impressing. After getting home with the vehicle Ashley had texted us to ask how the vehicle was going, we told her of these issues and never heard anything back from her. We then had a low tire pressure light come on in the vehicle so we checked the tire pressures and noticed one tires valve stem was completely wrecked which is what caused the tire to be losing air. The protection plan that was added to our bill covered tires so we were told if we ever had any issues to call the finance guy directly. After many attempts to get ahold of him and unable to we then asked if someone else could help. We were told someone would call us back, and after multiple attempts calling back after 4 hours we were finally able to talk get ahold of someone who could help. We were told to go to our local dealership right away and that Rocky Dodge would cover the cost to repair the tire. Upon getting there we could again not get ahold of anyone to confirm this with out local dealership and therefore they would not be able to do the repair until they had confirmation of payment, so we sat waiting for another 40 minutes. Finally we received a call back from a man who did not sound very happy to have to deal with us and by his tone we seemed like a burden to him. Through this whole experience the only person who sounded sympathetic at all that this was going on was a gentleman named Ben who had told us they would cover the repair cost and to take it to our local dealer right away. Its very sad to see a dealership who has very little interest in wanting to help you with any issues after a sale has been finalized. More
