Refuse to Compensate for a Recalled Part We are 30+ years dedicated Ford customers and have never been so disappointed! Bought a used Ford truck in Feb 2019. Got a Recall Notice in Mar and to We are 30+ years dedicated Ford customers and have never been so disappointed! Bought a used Ford truck in Feb 2019. Got a Recall Notice in Mar and took it in to Riverview Ford to be fixed no problem. Then started experiencing braking problems where the truck wouldn't stop. It wasn't listed on Recall so called for price from Riverview. Price was a little over our budget so just bought Ford approved part and installed ourselves. Only two weeks later got a Recall Notice for this exact part but both this dealership and Ford Canada refuse to reimburse even though they claim it is from 2017? Why did we not receive a Recall Notice in Mar along with the other one? Why were we not informed about it when we took our truck in for the other Recall? Why, when we have been dedicated cuatomers for over 30 years won't they reimburse us when it is under $1k and worthwhile to keep us happy for the huge amounts we have spent over those 3 decades? They can't answer those questions unfortunately and here we are still getting the run around 5 mths later! More
