Fit the truck to the customer. I spent several months searching Winnipeg for a 2014 regular cab 4x4 with an 8 ft box and did not want a white colour due to glare. Everyplace I went I spent several months searching Winnipeg for a 2014 regular cab 4x4 with an 8 ft box and did not want a white colour due to glare. Everyplace I went tried to talk me into a double cab short box.I was having trouble getting comfortable in the seats of the new GM product and every RAM dealer had nothing in a regular cab to show me but had some on the way though none ever seemed to show up. Bob Wall at River City Ford spent the time to find how I would be using the truck and what was important to me. Because the 2015 Fords were coming out there was no more factory orders available. I decided that maybe I could use a reg cab with a 6.5 foot box that they had on the lot. I test drove and they seemed to fit the bill. I wanted a limited slip differential with the 4x4 setup and the trucks on the lot were not equipped. Bob found a truck in Saskatchewan which was equipped that way. It was a STX Sport package which came with an upgrade on the interior, running boards, tailgate step, sport grill package, and 20" machined aluminum rims on Bridgestone tires and the 5L V8 replacing the 3.7L six. Bob said he could bring it in and still fit my budget. I was sceptical about this due to all the other dealer promises that never materialized. He brought it in ahead of schedule and got the box sprayed and let me try using the tailgate step option for awhile to see if I liked it or he would swap it for another gate. On budget! The other dealers would push me to what they had available and started talking money and the fact the truck did not fit was no concern. Bob took the time to locate a truck that fit my needs. That was difference on deciding to buy from River City Ford. I went looking for a work truck and got a whole bunch of style thrown in. So far the truck fits my needs perfectly and I've grown to like the tailgate step that I used to make so much fun of. Great job by the staff and finance dept at River City Ford for making everything Simple. And to Bob Wall, a Big Thank You! More

Buying an F250 Bought a 2015 F250 truck back in November of 2014 from this place. Was looking for a more powerful and capable truck than then one I had at that time. Just by accident saw an ad in the newspaper, they were offering a good discount on trucks and cars so decided to stop buy. When I entered the dealership, right away I felt a bit of anxiety, the one you have when going to dealerships and looking for a car, as they might rip you off. But, when I was introduced to Darren Lusty, the guy who guided me through buying the truck, I felt that even though his job was to sell the truck, I could be open and talk to him and address all the concerns that I had. This made a huge difference: it actually felt that they were ready to work with me and sell the truck for what its true value was, rather than just making money. I test-drived the truck and got all the technical information that I needed. Now, when the financing discussion part came, dealerships have a trick of asking what you're comfortable of paying bi-weekly. What I liked about this place though, was the fact that I told them I wanted a break-down of the actual cost of the truck, which is what they gave me, including the offered discount. According to my estimates, saved at least $7,000 on an F250, comparing to a different dealership if were to buy a similar truck, even much more below than the MSRP and I just love the truck. They also give you lifetime powertrain warranty. More
