Exceptional Service from Richmond Hill Subaru Recently, my spouse needed to purchase a new Subaru Vehicle in January 2016. In this regard, we wanted to write a note about the excellent service Recently, my spouse needed to purchase a new Subaru Vehicle in January 2016. In this regard, we wanted to write a note about the excellent service provided to us from Subaru personnell namely, Mr. Sam Chegini and Mr. Alejandro Vargas. I am sure that we are just one of the many satisfied customers that have provided feedback about Mssrs Chegini and Vargas. To begin, Mr. Vargas was so understanding and patient throughout the entire process of explaining the various differences in the Subaru Forester line of vehicles. Mr. Vargas was very professional. He was so knowledgeable and explained the technical terms in such a manner that we were able to understand the enhancements in the new generation 2016 forester. As well, when we picked the new vehicle, imagine to our surprise, to find that our new vehicle had been programmed (ie, navigation, the bluetooth and the radio had been set up for us). As well, Mr. Vargas spent some additional time explaining the preceding functions. Thank you Mr. Vargas. Mr. Sam Chegin is the consummate professional at Richmond Subaru. He helped us with financial aspects of the purchase and was able to process the necessary paperwork within a matter of days. I am told that purchasing a new vehicle usually takes about five days. In the instant case, it took a business day. Further, Mr. Chegini extended to me a further courtesy by providing with a brand new loaner for (a weekend) a 1 2016 Crosstrek. Mr. Chegin truly went the "extra mile" to ensure that we received excellent service. My wife is extremely happy with the purchase and both of us will not hesitate to recommend this dealer to others. Terrible After booking an appointment for service a few days in advance, I arrived with my vehicle right on time for my appointment. The dealership is a 40 mi After booking an appointment for service a few days in advance, I arrived with my vehicle right on time for my appointment. The dealership is a 40 minute drive for me BTW. When I arrive, I am told that the person who does the work that I needed done, is not there, and so they cannot perform the service that I was scheduled for. GREAT! if only they had told me that before I rearranged my life and drove 40 minutes to Richmond Hill, everything would have been fine. So I am forced to reschedule, which I do. When I arrive for the second time, I am told that one of the components of the vehicle is not working properly. I did an apparently crazy thing and asked "what's wrong with it?" to which they replied "it's just not working, and it is going to cost $300 to replace." I said "really? isn't it under warranty?" to which he replied "no, I don't think so, let me go check." So if I hadn't said anything, they would have had me pay $300 for a part that turned out to be covered under the warranty. Another "great" experience I had with this place is getting my car detailed. After I received the car back, there was a foggy, dirty residue left in the center of the windshield, which made it difficult to see out of at night. Also the dashboard now had some kind of residue on it. Not a good kind of residue like Armour All, more like someone sprayed dirty water on the dashboard, and then let it sit and air dry. The carpets were vacuumed, and the exterior looked nice. Customer Services reply to my complaint was that a disgruntled worker was the one who was doing the work on my vehicle, and it was his last day at work!! Awesome, ya, let the reject who doesn't want to be there, work on my $30,000 vehicle. Perfect, thanks Richmond Hill Subaru! In order to fix the problem I had to drive back to Richmond Hill Subaru again, so that they could do the job properly. I am sure that a handful of these reviews are actually real reviews, the rest are obviously fake. Trust that this one is real. More

I even paid deposit but changed my mind last minute and they still refunded me money. In the end, I decided to purchase a brand new car with them. And even till now I think it was the right choice. The sales guy that helped me was Francis, he is Taiwanese. His manager also helped us out a lot throughout this entire experience. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I am loving my 2016 Crosstrek. (Got my heated seat & back camera) I highly recommend buying cars with this dealership. You can avoid a lot of troubles & perhaps receive some deals. More

Oil Change and Winter Tire Swap Over Prices have Doubled During my recent visit for Oil Change and Winter Tire swamp, I was provided an invoice for 2x what I normally pay for this service. I was informed by JP that the prices have gone up (with a grin). I was not given any notice of this prior to the work being completed. In addition, this work took 2 hours (as I looked at my vehicle sitting in the air, not being worked on for >1 hour) [keep in mind this was in the evening at 7pm on a weeknight so it was dead]. The other advisers typically have been great. JP not so much. More

Throughout the whole process leading to and including striking a deal, there was negligible pressure. The whole process was very smooth as all our concerns were dispelled by Alex preemptively. Sam, who is the sales manager, added to our already very satisfied experience. There was no sales push at all. We picked up the vehicle as they have originally scheduled. Every small details were taken care of. We are beyond satisfied. It was such a great pleasure to do business with both Alex and Sam. An excellent team and one of the best dealerships. More
