Poorest representation of Jeep, possible. Bought my Jeep used, with 40000km on it. The next day service engine light. Took to Chrysler where they kept it for nearly 3 months... Engine swap, ne Bought my Jeep used, with 40000km on it. The next day service engine light. Took to Chrysler where they kept it for nearly 3 months... Engine swap, new EGR. New e-brake. Delivered with water and mud in the interior. Gave me a redundant warranty to bandaid remedy. Nearly a year later, looking at a new engine, massive oil leaks, speedometer is off, steering wheel falling off, clutch slave cylinder is gone... fuel and oil consumption issues! Nothing but a headache from day one. WILL NEVER RETURN. Service advisors are friendly and polite. Thats the only positive from my interaction with them. Will Recommend all dealerships before this one. Extremely unhappy More
not bad not good. seen a vehicle i liked online, went in to buy it same day. the reason why i gave everything around 3 stars is because they sales guys were not bad, seen a vehicle i liked online, went in to buy it same day. the reason why i gave everything around 3 stars is because they sales guys were not bad, maybe cause i told them i need a vehicle within hours, so they were friendly. the BAD part is the finance manager pulling out every sleazy tactic he can. my experience sales guys were helpful, found a vehicle i liked, decent price, told them id purchase it. i then went into the finance guy and this is where i almost walked out of the deal. i got a final sales price all-in with the sales guy, and when i went to the finance person, he raised the price about 200-250 dollars, i asked him why is the price higher? he says he can not notice anything, as i look over the bill of sale, i notice the documentation fee was crossed out and raised about 150-200 dollars and told him i would not pay that, he then crosses it back out. i still ask why its about 50$ higher and he still says he doesnt know. i figure its not worth that much of a hassle so i let that slide. then, he tells me its financed through scotia, which i tell him id rather prefer rbc so i can pay it off quicker using online banking, he starts telling me how i am the most specific customer he has ever had. (LOL) and he says rbc has not responded back yet so he would have to wait till the next day to see if it was approved, i then tell him thats ok and ill be back tomorrow, he has a dumbfounded look on his face, and 5 minutes later its all done with rbc. he raised the interest by about 1.5% with rbc, and i tell him i wanna see the callback (the rate the bank sends the dealer to see what they should charge me) and he says he cant show it to me. (meaning he raised it higher for extra profit for the dealer) im going to refinance before the first payment is due, even if its at the same rate, just so the dealer wont scam any money out of me, conclusion: if you buying a vehicle from these guys, make sure you have financing set up through your bank or credit union BEFORE working with these sleazy tactics. Awful service Terrible sales manager. So rude and arrogant I have never had such terrible experience at a dealership. This manager Patrick tingle completely avoided Terrible sales manager. So rude and arrogant I have never had such terrible experience at a dealership. This manager Patrick tingle completely avoided my phone calls after I purchased a vehicle that crapped out on me as soon as I bought it. When I went there, I was just lied to and told he wasn't there. It's very unfortunate because I have had good experience in the other departments there but warning - do not by a used car unless you want to be ripped off and treated like dirt! Never again More

I initally had booked a server appointment online, after not hearing from anyone for a few days I called, and asked if they had received my request they said, no that doesn't always work!!! Ok why bother to not hearing from anyone for a few days I called, and asked if they had received my request they said, no that doesn't always work!!! Ok why bother to have an online booking if it doens't "always" work. That should have been my first clue, I decided to book anywat as they are close to DT. I had requested an oil change, inspection and fluid change (differential etc. which when quoted I thought was very expensive, but it needed to be done). I had also asked them to check a shimmy i had in the front. After dropping off my vehical at 7:30am, I was asked if I wanted to wait for it (I wonder if the service would have actually been done if I had waited). Given what was required I said I would come after work. The service writer informed me he would call me with this issues. at 2:50pm I had received no call, so I decideded to follow up. I was informed they were just finishing up the fluid changes and should be ready at 3:00pm. Great, I wondered if they have found the issue with the front end, but at the least the inspection and fluids were done. 3:40 I called for a courtesy shuttle pickup and the person on the phone, says, oops, I need you to talk to the service writer. He informed me that they had not yet started the oil change, inspection nor the fluid change. But they were quick to tell me the issue with the front end and it would cost me $2200 for a repair. I said I was on my way to pick it up and they said it's just going up on the hoist and would be another few hours. I asked they not perform the service as I needed my vehicle and I was on my way to pick it up. When I arrived they had not listened to my request and had started the oil change. I had to wait another hour before they took it down. They had plenty of excuses to why I was not kept up to date or why it took so long, the main one being that 30 people had come in at the same time. Seems like they're just into making as much money as possible, as they're in the habit of over booking as well (not sure how they prioritize when I booked 3 days prior to my appointment). Needless to say in my opinion certainly does not fit their motto "At our greater Calgary Dodge, RAM, Jeep, Chrysler and FIAT dealership, we are committed to customer service and satisfaction." In fact I felt they didn't even care as the manager hid in the back instead of taking the time to see if I was "satisfied". Be aware. More
I showed up for a transmission and turbo code, they were slow at the initial response, I needed to call them before closing to find out any information( usually the service would call you to inform you of t slow at the initial response, I needed to call them before closing to find out any information( usually the service would call you to inform you of the problem). They said they could get it done the next day, the second lie, after two days of continuously tell me I was next in line or not returning my phone calls at all. I pulled my truck from the dealership and took it to a more reputable and professional dealer. I cancelled an order for a new truck from them and will never take any of my business there again. Three days in the shop and not one thing was done or repaired. talking to the service manager is useless , excuse after excuse Sorry doesn't cover for the lack of professionalism and out right lies of the service associate or the poor service department of the dealership More
Just wanted to write a formal complaint about "Renfrew Chrysler" Dealership located in Calgary Alberta. On March 22,2013 I bought a used 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. After I bought the vehicle I was "Renfrew Chrysler" Dealership located in Calgary Alberta. On March 22,2013 I bought a used 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. After I bought the vehicle I was driving it home on Deer Foot in Calgary and when i braked the whole car would shake I had to pull over to the side of the road to call the dealership for help. They said to just take the car home and return in a few days. I made the 1 hour 1/2 trip it home. The next day I tried to register the vehicle. I could not register it because to my surprise the vehicle was from out of province and had not been inspected. This was VERY unsafe! If i would have gotten in an accident I'm sure there would have been a big lawsuit filed by my family. I returned the vehicle on March 26,2013. The Sales person Dan Mills informed me that it just came from the auction and he WAS aware it was not inspected but his used car manager just told him to let me go. The Manager was supposedly new. Now the dealership said they would inspect it and call me when it was done. They called me on March 28,2012 and said that the vehicle was inspected and routers where fixed but they wouldn't fix the CD player and told me to go the another dealership closer to my house. I was from out of town. They had rented me a car during this time. DAN MILLS the Sales person called and said that he didn't have time to drive it down to switch me vehicle until Friday ( good friday), with his wife. I said that was fine. Friday I waited all day.. Since i didn't have his number and he only had mine.. nobody showed up or called. I called Saturday four times.. 9am , 12:30, 3:30, and 4:30. Each time they told me now that it wasn't done getting checked over but would be done and I would get my vehicle back today.. No Luck... Now Monday April 1,2013, I called the Service department to ask for the copy of my inspection. Now my inspection was no where to be found and they said they would mail it to me when they found it.. Now I had to send a family member in that lived in Calgary to see what was going on and where my SUV was.. They insured him that it would be driven down that day.. 3:30 rolls around and I have to call them to see what was going on. I informed them that they needed to be here by 6:00 at the rental place so we could switch the insurance on the rental, because at this point I did not trust them to drive on my insurance if i could help it. They called me back and said that they couldn't be there till 6:30. So i went down to the rental place and asked them what to do. They took my name off the contract because renfrew was already on there and understood my concern. Now Dan Mills Called me back and said he could not deliver the vehicle because I took my name off the rental contract.. which made no sense. At this point I have had it and just desperately wanted my vehicle back. Half hour later he called me back and said now that he was going to deliver it. 8:30 that night I receive a text to meet him at the burger king to exchange vehicles. When I arrived he as sitting there with 3 pieces of paper. With my keys in his pocket. He then stated that I would have to sign off on the inspection, and after I did that I would get my keys. I told him that I was not signing anything and told him to give me my keys. He threw my keys across the table. I grab the inspection report and walked to my SUV, not signing anything! He followed me and knocked on the window and told me again to sign. I drove away. Looking at the inspection at home i notice that the dates on all the mechanical inspections and out of province stated that they were done on Friday March 29 (Good Friday) They were not even open then! I now have a new appointment to get it inspected because I don't feel safe. I am a young female and feel like this was the worst experience I have ever had buy anything! This business should not be in operation. Looking on the internet I have read MANY reviews about how terrible service they have got and people feeling cheated. This should be looked into! More
Over a two year period and numerous charges for miss diagnosing a fuel pump problem, the fuel system after having been miss diagnosed and being told their was no problem by Renfrew service department an diagnosing a fuel pump problem, the fuel system after having been miss diagnosed and being told their was no problem by Renfrew service department and manager. I was left stranded on the side of the highway because my fuel system would not use the 2nd half of the tank which was full of fuel. As a result I had to fill up my gas tank every 200 km all the way to Phoenix Arizona another problem was that it would take 15 minutes to fill up with $20 worth of gas. The car was diagnosed and repaired within 2 hours by the Tempe Dodge Chrysler Dealership in Arizona. Since returning back to Calgary the problem has returned and Renfrew has refused to repair it even though they know this is a recurring problem with the parts supplied by Chrysler. The service manager has refused to listen to my complains and has refused to service my vehicle under warranty which it is covered under because of the repair done in Arizona. More
