Dealing with Freedom Gates As I was about to enter the doors of the show room I was met by one of the friendliest young men I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. As I was about to enter the doors of the show room I was met by one of the friendliest young men I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. His name, Freedo Gates. After a friendly greeting, Freedom took immediate control to find what we were looking for and within minutes we were test driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Unfortunately it did not measure up to what we wanted and went on our way. Days later Freedom called to see how we were doing and if we had located a vehicle, which we had not. He kept in touch with us until he found exactly what we were looking for and we made the deal. If you like salesmen that don't pressure you, then Freedom and Varsity Chrysler are for you. More
Nobody seemed to care I rode my bike to Renfrew today to look at the Jeep Cherokee models. Dressed I'm my riding clothes I entered the dealership and walked slowly through the show room. Three of the salesmen were gathered around each other chatting and looking at their phones. I walked passed them and other employees unacknowledged. After going from one end to the other in what must be an invisible cloak, I left the show room and proceeded to the lot where the rows of Jeeps are parked. I spent about 10 minutes peering through the windows to have a look at the interior lay out. Still no one seemed to care that I might be interested in some personal service. So, after about 15 minutes of being ignored, I put on my helmut, mounted my bike and left. Note: I am not an unemployed twenty something spending some spare time looking Jeeps. I am a 61 year old recently retired guy with cash who is looking for mid sized luxury SUV. I won't be going back to Refrew. They just didn't care. More
Buyer beware and stay away from these crooks I have purchased a vehicle being told it was "new" only 20 km before taking it for a test drive. Brought it home, parked it in garage, only to find it is a hail damaged vehicle. This information was not disclosed to me and I have received no response from 2 sales managers or the president. This dealership is horrible and will rip you off, has dishonest practice and then will avoid addressing the problem. STAY AWAY from these xxxxxxxx. More

It was a pleasure working through the trade in process with Rod and with John Dwerryhouse on the finance side. They worked things out so I could take the vehicle home same day! We're very happy with the vehicle. Special mention to Brian Pink in the Service Department. I've been taking my previous vehicle to Renfrew for service for 6 years, and Brian has provided great information, working through what needed to be done to keep my vehicle in great running order. I've dealt with a number of service departments at other dealerships, and Brian is by far my preferred service advisor to deal with. More
Horrible Service After purchasing a brand new 2015 Jeep from Renfrew I decided to continue to have my vehicle serviced there. Absolute mistake. I brought my vehicle in After purchasing a brand new 2015 Jeep from Renfrew I decided to continue to have my vehicle serviced there. Absolute mistake. I brought my vehicle in for an Oil Change (which was supposed to be free) not only was I charged, but I had a piece (The coin storage bin to the left of the steering wheel) STOLEN from my vehicle while on their property. After following up with Renfrew they refused to take any responsibility whatsoever. They did offer a refund on the oil change they were supposed to provide for free, but they refused to accept responsibility for the piece that was stolen. They went so far as to tell me that I brought the vehicle in with the piece missing, that they distinctly remember the piece not being in the vehicle. They told me they typically would mark down on the report or take pictures of something missing on a vehicle that comes in like that, but conveniently overlooked it this time. Will never do business with Renfrew Chrysler again. More

He answered all of our questions. We sat down and discussed the price and discounts and that was it. We reached an agreement and were done. We thought at f Be very careful shopping at Renfrew Chrysler. We went with high expectations as repeat customers who have had 3 previous Dodge Trucks. We thought at first that we were being treated as valued customers but soon found out that our sales person just wanted to make the sale before he left on holidays. We were told that the truck we thought we were getting was the same as the one that was test driven, only better. It turned out to be much less than what we test drove. We were not shown the truck we had purchased until the cheque had been passed over and the papers signed and then we were handed the keys and told to have a nice day. We had to ask the mechanic how to stop the alarm system and start the truck. How embarrassing! Some of the items missing on the truck were somewhat fixed but not not like they would have been if they had come from the factory and of course meant more trips to the dealership and more waiting around. We now have to spend several thousand dollars putting in the necessary items that it should have come with in order to tow our fifth wheel properly. We will never return to Renfrew Chrysler and we are sorry that we didn't stay with our first instinct to buy a Ford. The shoddy prizes given out by Chrysler for the test drive were returned to Chrysler and the big sign announcing free gas or TV is obviously false advertising. More

However, there were a couple of issues when I picked the truck up. The truck box cover that was included in the deal was not installed and the DEF and diesel tanks were not filled. Although both issues were resolved, the fact that they did occur took away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable buying experience. This could have been easily avoided if every item on the vehicle delivery checklist was actually checked. Small things like this that make the difference between good and excellent. More
Many promises, many failures Dwayne did not fulfill the agreement of purchase, he stated the following; * financing- a interest number which was much lower than the amount at si Dwayne did not fulfill the agreement of purchase, he stated the following; * financing- a interest number which was much lower than the amount at signing creating additional work on our end to change finance companies. * Oil change- to be changed upon pick-up but could not provide proof the work was done, later corrected. *Full tank of gas- received 3/8 of a tank. * 1 FOB key- Dwayne attempted to give us 1 key, later corrected. * Truck to be detailed- many stains on center console, cleaned by ourselves Dwayne is very personable and friendly, when we questioned him of why he did not live up to his commitments he stated he had many customers and it was hard to keep track of what he promised to them. In the next breath he handed us the review and asked for a positive feedback. I will not return or promote Renfrew Chrysler in the future. More
