Management and finance managers can’t be trusted. I will not personally return, and any maintenance will be done in Edmonton or Calgary, if feasible. New vehicle purchase - Justin (either fina I will not personally return, and any maintenance will be done in Edmonton or Calgary, if feasible. New vehicle purchase - Justin (either finance or management) blatantly misrepresented what I said, ordered me to sit down twice, despite me expressing I was more comfortable standing, instructed me to transfer my insurance “immediately” (4:20 on a Friday afternoon) even though the vehicle was not delivered until the following Tuesday, and at one point told me to put my phone on mute because, in his own words, what he was instructing me to do was illegal. Because of Justin’s misrepresentations (lies), my daughter joined me so I would have a third party present. Once she arrived, the dealership treated her as though she were the customer, advised her when I could take possession, and my daughter handed me the keys to the vehicle. Dylan Salame, general manager, was dismissive, demeaning, and misogynistic, and Nick in finance failed to follow through on arrangements made with my common-law spouse. The vehicle was never explained to me, so I still do not know how to use it, and it took me nine days to even drive the vehicle after taking possession because the experience was so upsetting. My daughter and I literally walked out of the dealership, after she handed me the keys, looking for the vehicle. Management at Country Hills Volkswagen in Calgary ultimately did more to help me understand the vehicle than Red Deer Volkswagen did - they were kind enough to have one of their sales team, Levi, quickly video chat with me regarding the technical components of the vehicle. I should point out that they gained nothing from this, other than my respect. I do have to commend Ricky - he was the only person at Red Deer Volkswagen who was genuinely pleasant and helpful. He should be training Red Deer Volkswagen management and finance on customer service, as they do not seem to comprehend it. This is bizarre for a company that positions itself as selling premium or luxury-level vehicles. More
