I was hesitant to purchase anything else then GM but I tried a Kia and I personally cannot see myself owning anything else. I have owned an optima and a sorento and not once had any issues arise. Jane and Dan in service are a great team and always take such great care of their customers. Any time I have come in with my children the staff are friendly and welcoming the environment is kid friendly. Staff goes above and beyond to promote a clean child friendly environment! Very happy with this dealership and the product itself :) More

Had a couple vehicle choices in mind when I arrived and they sat down with me and showed me different features and options that would fit our family’s needs. I purchased the vehicle from a salesman named Terry. Very friendly!! There was also a man who popped in while I was signing the paperwork and I believe his name was Sean. I think he was the owner/operator of planet Kia. Thanked us for shopping at their dealership and said if we ever had and questions or concerns please don’t hesitated to call and even ask for him. I would recommend anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to stop in at this dealership. You won’t be disappointed. More

When we are buying a vehicle the sales professionals with their knowledge of their vehicles have been a great help making the process as seamless as possible. The service department has looked after us getting our appointments as close as possible to our desired time. They have gone over our bill explaining what was done and any future issues that could be done at a future time. I am very pleased with this dealership and staff and recommended them. More
Fantastic experience; Andy Bilodeau was great!! I was kind of skeptical about going to a Kia dealership because I'm not a fan of the brand. But when I started speaking with Andy he was able to work I was kind of skeptical about going to a Kia dealership because I'm not a fan of the brand. But when I started speaking with Andy he was able to work with me right away and made me feel like he was going that extra mile to find me a vehicle I would love and that was in my price range. Overall everyone at the dealership was fantastic to my family while we were there and any service concerns we had were addressed immediately. Would recommend Andy and planet Kia to my own family and friends, which I almost never do for a dealership More
Always a pleasure!!! We've been loyal customers of Planet kia and have purchased 4 vehicles from them, the Optima, 2 Sedonas and most recently our Telluride! Each time they have been so helpful, always find ways to make my wish list happen, without outrageous mark up and treat us like family. My kids often ask if they can stop in just to say hi, knowing that Sean, Terry and the whole team will spoil them with treats. We've never had any issues with our vehicles and have always been informed promptly about possible recalls on parts. I originally came to this dealership because I was tired of others trying to pressure me into a sale I didn't want or were over priced. From the first step into their sales room I felt at ease, comfortable and ready to make a deal. Thanks Planet Kia for always being top notch!!! More
Never Again! Bought a 2016 Kia Optima . The Car engine is burning thru oil like crazy. Car barley has over 100,000km. Found out (thru the internet) not from my de Bought a 2016 Kia Optima . The Car engine is burning thru oil like crazy. Car barley has over 100,000km. Found out (thru the internet) not from my dealer , that i had a car with a defective engine. It is my opinion that Kia Canada / North America knew or should have know about this problem as it was occurring in pre 16 models. Not a happy camper and would not purchase another Kia account of this . they can have there car back, in return for the original cheque i wrote them . That's the only way to rectify this issue IMO. More
Yikes I decided to purchase a used vehicle through a dealership to avoid the problems associated with a private sale. Planet Kia up-sold the used car I pi I decided to purchase a used vehicle through a dealership to avoid the problems associated with a private sale. Planet Kia up-sold the used car I picked by offering to put new all-season tires on, free of charge. I drove the car for about 2 months when 2 tires went flat in 3 days. I then discovered the car did not come equipped with a tire iron, so I was unable to get the bolts off or use the jack to change the tire myself. When I called the dealership, I was told that since the tire iron was not a required item during the vehicle safety, they would not provide one. For the tires, a mechanic (not from Kia) said in both cases, the bead was damaged when the tire was put on the rim. The dealership informed me that since it was a used car, there was no warranty, therefore not their problem. The first time the temperature went below -10 , the car battery died. The key fob doesn’t work when the car battery is dead, so I then discovered that the key in the fob did not actually belong to the car, it was the wrong key. I contacted the dealership and was told very condescendingly informed me that this is impossible, he “just can’t see how that could happen”. They agreed to provide me with exactly ONE key for my vehicle and that if the factory one they ordered did not fit, they would do no more. Luckily, the factory accidentally sent 3 so I was able to put a functioning key in each fob. About 6 months after I purchased the car, the other two tires went flat. Again, the mechanic said the bead was damaged when the tire was put on the rim. Being that they are low profile tires, the bead will be damaged if the rubber is installed carelessly onto the rim. Which is what Kia did prior to selling me the vehicle. The funny part being, if the dealership hadn’t offered new tires, I would have bought new tires and had them installed independent of the dealership, I would have a warranty and would still have spent less money on the tires for this car than I have so far. In addition, it’s scary to think that, in a climate that is regularly below -30, I could have got the flat tire during the winter, only to realize there’s no tire iron to change the tire, and the battery is too weak to survive the cold, and without the right key to get back into the car. This mix of failures was a lawsuit waiting to happen. After the most recent flats, I called Kia Canada. They asked why I didn’t called the dealership. Well, in the past the dealership has been less than helpful, and even if they did agree to help, why would I trust them to reinstall tires that they damaged the first time they did it?? They agreed to call the dealership and told me they would call back tomorrow. No one called. A week later, I contacted them again and they told me yes, they will call back tomorrow. Never did. A week after that I finally received a call from a different customer service agent who had spoken with the dealership. She informed that she didn’t know why I would call Kia Canada, why didn’t I go to the dealership? I said, well my experience with them has not been helpful. She told me that the dealership had no idea of any of the issues I’ve been having because I have not been into the dealership since I bought the car. This is a lie, because two days after I purchased the car, the check engine light came on and I took it in for them to fix it, also I went in to get a new key for the car. Conveniently, I didn’t get any documentation for either of those visits. After arguing that the tires were in fact the dealerships responsibility because they put them on, she told me that my issues were not actually the problem of Kia Canada. When asked, “how is it not Kia Canada’s problem?” She responded that it’s not Kia Canada’s problem because they stand by their dealership. In my opinion, this is indeed a “Kia Canada” problem, since it’s a Kia car from a Kia dealership. More
The best ever!!! I couldn't believe it! I always wanted a Soul! Love them. Never thought I would be able to afford one. I always thought it would be my dream vehicle I couldn't believe it! The sales people were so good! And Jane, the finance lady. Well she is just wonderful. All of them were so accommodating. Here I was getting the vehicle of my dreams and was able to afford it. Love this place! And my experience there was wonderful. I would recommend them to everyone. I have! There are 6 of my family members across the border who have a Kia vehicle. We all love them!
