Buying a Forester worked well. But I have had multiple service appointments that were horrendous. On the last 2 appointments it took them 11.5 hours to do a simple 1 hour job. Had a positive experience with all the employees but want to give special attention to Simon who sold me our vehicle. Never known a Dealer to make so many excuses for problems that have come up. Saved for 20 years to buy a new car for my retirement. Not once have I heard from the dealer and with only 21,000 km it has issues that have come up. Saved for 20 years to buy a new car for my retirement. Not once have I heard from the dealer and with only 21,000 km it has issues with Eyesight system. Otto's don't care. They sell you a car and then zero support. Every problem reported they have given me some ridiculous excuses and never fixed. Bought a new car for the safety features and so I wouldn't have to worry about my old vehicle breaking down. 2 years later I have a vehicle that has issues and now have to go purchase another car because the incompetent people at Otto's have no knowledge or desie to fix it. More

When a delivery date stretched from the initial 4-6 weeks to 12 weeks (and counting) with no end in sight, there was no one to own up to a clear example of misleading a customer to secure a deal. Instead, there was an astounding level of arrogance and self righteousness that no one exhibited better than Bryan Zhang, the so-called manager. Apparently, it is more appropriate to blame poorly worded emails for failure to demonstrate honesty when it comes to delivery dates of a vehicle. Instead, one experiences a shouting, angry, rude, unprofessional and defensive individual who is process-blinded as opposed to customer-oriented. It takes a certain type of attitude to blame everything and everyone for incompetence instead of looking in the mirror. This could have been handled so much better, but if you were Bryan, you blame Subaru Japan, the shipping boat, the Vancouver and the Halifax Ports, the Toronto receiving, the delivery truck, and the customer. Clearly, someone slept through Sales 101. What a shame! More

I bought a new WRX from Otto's and it was a great experience. I needed a second car and went to Toyota, Hyundai, Honda, Mazda and VW. Most of my experiences weren't positive. In some cases, it was l experience. I needed a second car and went to Toyota, Hyundai, Honda, Mazda and VW. Most of my experiences weren't positive. In some cases, it was like they were doing me a favour by finding me a new car "in this climate". Walking into Otto's was a breath of fresh air. The sales person, Sami Musleh, was kind, friendly, answered all my (many) questions and wasn't pushy about buying. I ended up coming later after going to several dealerships and again, Sami was friendly and gave me all the time I needed to get my stuff in order. Pick up was so nice as well. The car was spotless, the winter tires were on, the financing person made sure I was in and out fast (as I had another meeting to go to) and there was a nice give basket waiting for me in the car with chocolates, wine, socks, cookies and more. I can see why this place has so many loyal customers. More

I wouldn't even give it 1 star but there is no less of a point, They have had my son's car for 5 months for a mechanical problem, took them 2 months to figure out it needed a motor job, that was warranteed, point, They have had my son's car for 5 months for a mechanical problem, took them 2 months to figure out it needed a motor job, that was warranteed, Each week its "the motors coming , it will be done next week" 5 MONTHS LATER , still no car, still no motor. During this time he was not even given a rental. Now he also has a damage claim, because while it is out sitting there in their lot, it was damaged during a hail storm. Do not recommend ever going to them, take your vehicle to a small town local garage, do not waste your time here. More
