Orangeville Nissan

We would not return to this dealership to purchase a car. My son set up an appointment to purchase a used Nissan. He was very excited since this was his first car. We were very disappointed to find out when we got there and were told that the car was sold and then Lucas immediately tried to sell us a new car. Assuming that the car has just been sold we asked to at least get a test drive so we knew if he liked the vehicle before considering new. Another sales associate then told us that the car left the lot the day before. I have purchased a fair number of used cars from dealers and have never bought a car and then been able to drive it off the lot the same day which leads us to believe that the car had been sold for at least a few days and Lucas used the ad to 'Bait' us into coming down with the sole intention to sell us a new car. I asked why we weren't given a call since we specifically drove 1.5 hours to get to Orangeville and all Lucas said was that "He just got in at 9:30'. Our appointment was at 10 so he still could have called us to tell us the news. We checked the ad on Auto trader and the dealer website a day later and it was still listed. This was my son's first interaction with a car dealer and we left with the feeling that car dealers (and Lucas specifically) are dishonest and misleading. Definitely would caution anybody from purchasing a used car from Orangeville Nissan. More
