Absolutely the worst customer service!! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I would give them negative stars if I could! I was in the market for a new 4runner and went to Open Roa ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I would give them negative stars if I could! I was in the market for a new 4runner and went to Open Road because it was the closest place to my home and I have been taking my older vehicle there for service. . I knew what I wanted and I know what the prices are so I went in to take a look at their stock. The first time I went, I walked around the lot and showroom for over 30 minutes before I finally had to find someone to help. There are lots of staff there but none seem that eager to assist the customer. When I finally flagged someone down, we sat down and discussed what was available. I gave my number and details and went home waiting to hear back. I dropped in four times and called several times to touch base. Nothing....When I finally got someone's attention they gave me a ridiculous price and were not interested in negotiating. They do the old back and forth with the 'Sales Manager' and say there's nothing they can do for me. When I go to talk to the 'Manager', his minions tell me that he doesn't talk to customers!! Can you believe that? How do they stay in business? Their staff is rude, and condescending and look like they all just got out of high school. So I took my money and went to Peace Arch Toyota in White Rock and bought a brand new 4Runner. I told them my experience with Open Road and they said they hear that all the time about them. I called Peace Arch Toyota that day and when I showed up, they had 2 4Runners out front and ready for me to test drive. We sat down and we agreed to a price that was $3000 cheaper than Open Road wanted for a Demo model they were trying to flog. And I didn't really try that hard to negotiate. I probably could have gotten a better deal! Awesome customer service at Peace Arch!! Friendly and well educated. Do yourself a favor and talk to the adults at Peach Arch and save yourself time, money and lots of grief! Stay away from Open Road! They suck!! More

I am grateful for my car sales consultant BRANDON HARBOUR! I have just arrived in Vancouver for 2 weeks. I have no idea in buying a car here. However, i do really need one as soon as possible. He was according my requirements to describe a Toyota car for me. He also helped me to obtain some discount from his manager FRASER YOUNG. I do really love this company service. I sent in my van for regular service, the service guy came up with a long list of repairs "needed", amounted to thousands of dollars; and scary stories, tried to scare me into agreeing to do them. I rejected. Then a sales person called to ask me whether I would like to sell my van because there was a "low inventory". I asked about the price they would pay for a "high in demand" van, the answer was "that depends on what kind of new car I would like to buy" from them. I insisted on an estimate on the value of my van; he came with a number less than half of same year, same model vehicles with way higher mileage asked on the market. Tried their very best to get money out of their loyal customer! Disgusting! More

Never answered phone calls or mobile phone numbers. They smile at you if you are a clean cash customer but if you are not that kind of customer then they have others to attend to so you better not touch this dealer if you plan to have many questions on your financing options or the car itself. Also they don't propose options to you but rather give you "what they have" or what you tell them specifically, so where is the initiative ? Thanks a lot but no thanks, I hope next time I have enough money on cash I can get a better service. More

Toxic sales person. My husband and I was in the dealership to re negotiate the deal he had made with Alex Mislang. My husband was in the dealership 2 days ago, but after coming home that day he had bad feeling re the deal, Alex has not allowed him to make any negotiation but was sort of pushed to this deal. When we came there and told Alex that we want to keep our trade in car but we want to keep the negotiated price, he said that it is ok, my husband had 3-4 times repeated that he wanted the same price as they negotiated.Alex repeatedly said that it is ok. We waited in the store and then he approached us saying that it cannot be that price cause we were taking the trade in car. We were confused after several times of telling him of what we want earlier and he agreed, now he said in an annoyed manner it cannot be. Alex lost his cool, his voice and bodily expressions showed anger and come up to my husband blaming my husband in an angry manner that my husband was wrong in doing that. The dealership advertises 3 day money back guarantee, we actually did not have possession of the car. My husband felt so dis respected the way this sales person acted towards us, another sales person tried to make the deal with us but because of this excruciating toxic attitude we had already made up our mind that we will take our business somewhere else where we will not be disrespected and intimidated.It looks like this is not the first time this has happened,I agree with previous comment that this type of unprofessionalism greatly affect your business. More
Worst Customer Service We went there last week to have a look on their 2014 Sienna and met one of their agents named, Alex Mislang. At first he was nice in assisting us and in answering our questions but when we were hesitant in closing the transaction because of the trade-in value of our car, he suddenly lost his cool. We requested for a day to think it over and he insisted that it should be done right away since there will be another manager on the next day. He told us that if we were not decisive enough to buy the car, we would have not bothered the appraiser and wasted their time. On our way out of the showroom, he also told us to go elsewhere as he could not accommodate us anymore as we could not transact sensibly and are not serious buyers (as we did not close the deal). I never thought that visiting a showroom (our 1st time at Open Road Richmond) should compel us to buy at once leaving us no room to think for such investment. We have been to some other dealerships but have never been mistreated and intimidated in the way this agent did to us. So far, this is the worst customer service experience I had. Your employees reflect your company's image and surely this one is a shame. This lack of professionalism in treating your customers can hurt your business if this becomes an ongoing practice in your dealership. More
Incompetent technician & service agent I have a Rav4. Few days ago, the engine light, VSC, and the brake lights were all lighted up. I brought it to this dealership early this morning and t I have a Rav4. Few days ago, the engine light, VSC, and the brake lights were all lighted up. I brought it to this dealership early this morning and told them about the lights. In addition, I mentioned that I felt weird with the brakes. When I pressed the brake pedal, the pedal appeared to be leaking air or fluid. The guy said they would check for all the symptoms. Around 1 pm, I received a phone number said the car is ready to pick up. I went there around three. The guy said everything is fine and all the lights have been reset. They charged me $100 for running the diagnosis. I asked them what are the results. He said poor gas quality that might trigger the lights!!!! I started my car and found the brake light was still lighted up. Moreover, the brakes seemed to be worse than this morning, not responsive until I pressed all the way down. I told the same guy. He said the brake light was not on earlier. He checked and said that is a different problem. I have to leave my car there again but it may take another 1.5 hours or longer and they may no have time to work on it today. I said I told him the problem earlier but he insisted it is a different problem. What a idiot. Charging $100 just to reset the lights without even take a look at the potentially life-threatening problem. Be careful! don't go to this dealership for service. Otherwise you'll get ripped off!!!
