LOVING MY NEW JEEP Having recently graduated I was looking for my first new car. I did my own research and narrowed down my options, one of which was a new 2014 Cherokee Having recently graduated I was looking for my first new car. I did my own research and narrowed down my options, one of which was a new 2014 Cherokee. Upon my arrival at the dealership I was immediately greeted by Brandon Langel. He showed me some floor models and we went out for a test drive. I was particularly interested in a Trailhawk, but they had none in stock at that time. I left my information with Brandan, and asked him to give me a call when one arrives. Having visited other dealerships, I was consistently being haggled with calls throughout the week. I appreciated the fact that Brandon did not consistently call to haggle me to come check out a veichle I had no interest in. As soon as a Trailhawk arrived a week later I got a phone call, and I came to check out the car the same day. I had no intention of closing a deal that day, but because of Brandon’s willingness to negotiate we were able to come to term on FAIR final price for the Trailhawk. The negotiation process took almost an hour and at no point did I feel excessively pressured or forced to make a deal I wasn’t comfortable with. Brandon was easy to talk to, reasonable, and personable. However, the only thing I failed to take into account as a first time buyer was the additional costs for optional warranty programs. These programs are offered to you after your negation of the vehicle during the financing. At this point, I already negotiated a price for the car, not taking these additional warranties into consideration. Because I was purchasing a new vehicle I felt like they were a worthwhile investment. I would recommend future buyers take these costs into consideration during the negotiation phase as they increase the final price. Financing was a breeze and taken care of by Aamir Facia. He was awesome, easy to talk to, and gave me additional advice on how to best handle my financing. The car was ready for pickup when expected. I would do business with this dealership again. I can, with a good conscience, recommend this dealership to others as well. THANKS ONTARIO CHRYSLER! More
