Okotoks Ford my new place for vehicle support!!! Mike at Okotoks Ford gave his word that he would find an answer to my vehicle problem...AND HE DID!!! I purchased my Ford Taurus new in May 2012 and Mike at Okotoks Ford gave his word that he would find an answer to my vehicle problem...AND HE DID!!! I purchased my Ford Taurus new in May 2012 and have been dealing with the original dealership since, and have not had one good experience. EVER!! Leave frustrated every single time. But yet I kept going back. Last week (4 visits to this dealership in 1 - 1/2 weeks) Friday June 26 I took my car in and the dealership did a large "warranty repair". I picked my car up, drove away and guess what?? Not fixed!! I immediately turned around and went back, asked for a mechanic and took him for a drive. His response was..."the bearing needs to adjust and work its way in. And the other sound you are hearing is your turbos. OMGOSH!!! My turbos???? I just shook my head. Yesterday morning I took my vehicle to OKOTOKS FORD and received the best and most courteous service!! Mike and his crew discovered the problem. It was a piece of foam rubbing on a part!! 4 trips to original dealership...one trip to OKOTOKS FORD and problem solved!! Which would you choose?? The repairs on my car were NOT warranted and should not have been done. I urge everyone to stop by OKOTOKS FORD!! They are now my go to place for all service and repair!! Thank you Mike and crew and to Caitlin in service!! I appreciate your commitment to solving my problem!! More
We went into the dealership and wondered around for a while. No one asked if we were needing assistance so we left. I explained our situation (trade-in model, payment budget, interests etc.) and the response was merely that there was nothing available in the Ford line. We ended up purchasing a new vehicle at another local dealership with an MSRP of $23 000. Ford has nothing in this price range? Give me a break. As 20 year members, we also qualified for the Costco rebate. Salesman didn't seem at all interested in that. Not a good ad for a dealership owned by someone who has multiple outlets for cars, RV's etc. etc. More
Just been down to this dealership as my engine light came on this morning and as I was in town thought I would drop off my truck for them to take a look at it, it is a 2013 F150 with just 4K on the clock, so on this morning and as I was in town thought I would drop off my truck for them to take a look at it, it is a 2013 F150 with just 4K on the clock, so still brand new . . . Turns out the air intake hose was off the manifold and they even provided me with a picture to prove it, however I am an engineer and when the light came on I pulled over and checked under the hood along with a friend, the intake hose is huge and if it was off as shown in their photo I would have noticed, it sits over the top and middle of the motor, it's the 1st thing you see when you pop the hood. Anyway long story short I was charged a total of $167 for the privilege of allowing Okotoks Ford to look at my truck and secure a hose that in my opinion was not off in the first place, a job at best would take 2 mins to do. The charges were justified by the service desk as being a diagnostic check, another 1 min job with a plug and a PC, and shop supplies . . . . ??? What supplies . . . This was explained as use of their computers, floor mats, seat covers (which were not in the vehicle). This has to be a warranty claim but as they held the keys I stood no chance, I now have to claim the charges under warranty from my dealer, a real pain as I was under the impression the warranty was North America wide. Not at all happy with the service I received from this dealership and as such will never return and will discourage anyone else from using there services. They are in the process of building a new shop and showroom and i really feel I have just contributed to it! More
Never buy a Ford from this dealership, they replaced some break light lamps while the vehicle was under warranty then a few weeks later the same lamps went and burnt out the fitting and even Ford ferused to break light lamps while the vehicle was under warranty then a few weeks later the same lamps went and burnt out the fitting and even Ford ferused to even look at my request to see if the same problem was the issue. Secondly after explaining that the ventilation fan was very noisy everytime you turned the engine on and then when it was turned off there was a loud bang, they kept my vehicle all day only to charge me $140 and say they couldn`t recreate the noise. I then immediately demonstrated the same noise to the lone female member of staff who said she would speak to the service manager . Ford customer service were an even bigger joke asking if the garage had ever told me the noise was a characteristic of the vehicle before understanding to whole issue. I have personally witnessed several altercations in this garage with unhappy customers so we will not buy the Ford F150 ecoboost we were looking at , well done Ford the good old days of great product but lousy product support. More
Well once again I went in to Okotoks Ford and as always ... It was awesome, great people that treat you like a old friend. The service to my 2010 mustang gt/cs was the price they said it would be. Plus while it was there the noticed a issue with the rear diff.. They called me told me and resovled it before the work day was done. Same goes for when I bring my truck in. Everyone in the service department is friendly, courteous I have 6 Ford Trucks and I am proud to say that my vehicles are serviced at Okotoks Ford. Everyone in the service department is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. They are a no nonsense type of people which is very nice to deal with because I just want the facts. They let me know what is wrong with my truck so it can be fixed. I am not given excuses as to why it is not fixed and the turn around time on getting my trucks back has always been great it is either the same day or the next! The service manager Tyler is a very knowledgeable and helpful gentleman. He has always gone the distance for me and my fleet of trucks. If you have a question in regard to a mechanical problem and he can not answer it he will find the answer and get right back to me. The front line staff who book you in or give you updates on how your vehicle is doing throughout the day are amazing, they are always friendly and know approx when your vehicle is ready for pickup. Brought my car in for service. Very repeatable problem. Courtney called me to pick up my vehicle with no fault found. I was quite surprised. (I figured piece of cake) Well when I got there Courtney toldme my timing was rediculious since it was close to lunch. I asked her if I could get my car back in the mean time. She told me I have to pay the diagnostic fee that was double the price then on their board or come back in an hour. She was super rude and had been that way with me from the begining. She seemed to be looking for a fight. Well she decided to also inform me that they will keep my car indefinitely if I don't pay their $137 bill. I let het know that it is illegal to keep someone's property without their permission. Well she then challenged me to do what ever I can, but I'm not getting my car back. So I called the cops and in the mean time this other guy came out and threatened to revoke my warranty and blackmark my car for life with ford. Also on top he explained how he may just make up a problem or two if I do get it serviced with them so I should be happy the didn't. When the cops showed up I payed the price on the board. 69.99 not the 137. And dealership people did everything they to increase the frustration. Pretending not to have change and pretending to have problems finding my keys prolonging the bullying an additional 10min Very mafia style hold ya over a barrel type of treatment. And Courtney is a fighter and will jump at the opportunity to push you around. This could have been a good experience but when you threaten to keep my $30,000 car just because weather I like it or not then I have an issue. Courtney had no reason to be like that. If I have a problem with the bill ya don't say. "well we'll just keep your car" More
