Found out 5 minutes later driving the oil change was not done, chips on the windshield behind the rear miror, back bumpers has 2 black paints on the rear. I texted the seller on Monday morning on his business cellular and explain everything , he answered meback they probably forgot to reset for the oil change and the restcan be take care of too. I sent him pictures of the black oil as no services had been done on my car, since he completely ignored me . I sent him an other text today asking him to preparethe paper for the warranty of the car and I will be in on Friday afternoon for the oil change and the rest on my papers, still completely ignored again. We picked the truck we wanted and started the paper work. Got low balled on the trade in but sucked it up because we liked the new truck. Everything went smoothly until all papers were signed. When the truck was delivered the lock on the tailgate was miraculously missing and in the locked position so we called the dealership and they told hubby to see if we could get it warrantied to have it fixed. I was unhappy to put it nicely so we went to a different dealership to see if it could be warrantied and it can't so called back the original dealership and they won't pay to fix it but will give us a deal on it. It was there when we bought the truck it should be there when we receive it! It should not be up to us to pay for something that was there when we purchased the vehicle! Very unimpressed with this dealership. More

I was a little hesitant to book in with a dealer as they quite often try to sell I booked an appointment to have a wheel alignment done on a Monday. I was a little hesitant to book in with a dealer as they quite often try to sell you a new engine when you came for an oil change... They had my truck for the day, called at 2pm to inform me the bad news... they could not perform my alignment because my wheel bearing/hub assy. on the passenger side needed replacing... then the good news... They could fix it today!!! for appx. $650... I told them to park the truck and I would come pick it up, do the repairs myself, then re-book for the alignment. I installed the new bearing/hub and re-booked for Wed. I waited all day Wed. with no contact from service dept. So I called them... Service manager explained to me that they STILL could not perform the alignment because the pitman and idler arms needed replacing. I asked... "Why did I pay $52 for the front end inspection Monday, and this was not reported to me? He had no explanation, but offered to make the "necessary" further repairs for $1100 with only an apology for the oversight!!!! WOW!!!! So I said... forget it... I then took the truck to OK Tire in Okotoks to get the wheel alignment done. I didn't tell them that I had already been to the GM dealer, so I could see what their assessment would be. Oddly enough... The only thing they found wrong was excessive play in one of the lower ball joints. I then told them what Okotoks GM said about the Pitman/Idler arms. The chief mechanic demonstrated to me what the problem was with the lower ball joint and went under the truck again to re-check the Pitman/Idler arm. He re-stated that the play he found was normal and that nothing needed to be changed. I wrote the service manager an email after my experience, to give feedback... I received NO reply! I am officially done with Okotoks GM and will tell everyone I know about this incident, to warn them of the unethical business practices they appear to practice. I guess it's true... finding an honest mechanic is very hard to do! I do recommend OK Tire in Okotoks by the way... they were honest, forthright, and even demonstrated their findings to me without hesitation, so I had the ball joint replaced, wheel alignment done, and bought new tires from them! More

Called the service department at 2.30 and was told that my car hadn't even been started. Went and picked up the car and of course never re-booked. Was given no real explanation as to why it wasn't even looked at, guy apologised but this wasn't the first time these guys had messed us around. Called and left a message for the service managers assistant to ring me back and what do you know I never received a call. Probably won't go back to this dealership again. I live in Okotoks so it really will be an inconvenience having to drive into Calgary but just sick of being messed around. More
Worst experience ever from a GM dealership I had an appointment to have my vehicle inspected on a Friday morning, they called me and bumped my appointment to 5 days later. I brought it in on time in the morning and at the end of the day, they phoned me and haven't even touched my vehicle yet and wouldn't give me a loaner! I had to work a night shift and walk to work and back. I immediately called them back and told them to pull my vehicle and not to touch it. I had heard many bad things about this dealership but figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. BIG MISTAKE! I went to pick up my vehicle and they had trouble starting it and asked if I had ignition problems and I never have had any! I know of someone's vehicle that was hit and damaged badly while in this shop and they refused to take responsibility. Take the drive to Davis GMC in Lethbridge or Don Wheatons in Edmonton if you can where they treat you like gold! Don't get screwed over by this horrible dealership like myself and others have. Thank you to Don Wheatons for doing everything right for me. More

Would seem good for a persons first time buying anew vehicle but this place looks at people like $$ and not a customer. More
Service is terrible I have been dealing with this dealership for over 15 years. It was bought by kaizen auto group out of Calgary within the last two years. Since then, the parts and service department has tanked. I buy several new trucks every year for our company and have never experienced the type of incompetence that this dealership displays on a daily basis before. For the third time in less than a month, one of our vehicles was in for warranty repairs at a scheduled date and time. The truck was checked in then sat outside for days without being looked at. We tried to call and ask when they expected to be complete but you can't get the dealership, the phone goes to a Calgary switchboard. We drove up to the dealer and the service department "forgot" the truck was even there. Another had parts ordered at the last service for a warranty issue. They were going to call when the parts came in. Now due for service again and they have no idea what I'm talking about. We have closed our account effective today and will be taking all our business to High Country in High River. They actually want our business. More

I live in the city and was a little hesitant on purchasing a vehicle from a small town. The Salesman and Sales Manager made me feel very comfortable. I found the perfect vehicle, A Buick Enclave CXL and felt no pressure to buy. The management was knowledgeable on any question I had and all in all It was a completely stress free experience. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from Okotoks GM and recommend them to anyone:-) More

We bought a used vehicle that was filthy when we picked it up. We came from out of town and gave them 5 days notice when we would be there to pick it up. Food wrappers in all the pouches and cubbies, not vacuumed and the wheel alignment was off. I waited for 3 hours with 2 small children while they washed the outside of the vehicle. The inside was not cleaned during that time. The list goes on. They sure take the excitement out of purchasing a vehicle. They don't stand behind there promises at all!!! Stay away!!! More

Listening to needs and attention to detail where significantly lacking traits, at least by the salesperson representing Okotoks GMC. The Salesperson I dealt with was friendly enough on the surface but it felt forced and made us feel like just another number. I was given the “trust me we will give you the best with no gimmicks”, not only was it not sincere it was an outright misrepresentation leading me to question their integrity. Sadly, they didn’t lose my business on price, it was really close. They lost it because I lost patience with getting the run around, being unresponsive and pulling to many “used car salesman” tricks of the trade (false promises and in the end a real bait and switch). Good news is it pushed me to another dealership in a nearby smaller city that not only delivered but absolutely blew my expectations away and gave me the best value for my dollar and stellar customer service. More
