So I did promise I would comeback and give feedback after my appointment! So this is the feedback! They did well! Indeed they did there best to set this right and truly that’s what service is about! They took ownership of the pitfalls and offered much in terms of remedy! It would have been heart breaking to not have had a renewed experience on this visit. as with all clients all we want is a peace of mind and a solution. On this occasion I got the service that should have been met in the first place! THATS A WIN! Now with persons removed from their labour force who were contributors to my experience I am a little reassured for future visit especially since they seem to stand behind their reputation! Kudos to will for stepping up! Hope I am able to revisit these pages only to applaud this and any Dealer in the future! I am a just reviewer so I bump them to a 3 star coming from one I promise to continue to upgrade these guys as I continue to use their services, test them out for yourself what is sure is that they will acknowledge and seek to improve and this is service with value! The service representative was able to fit in an unscheduled appointment when we dropped in mid day. Our Ford F150 needed a factory module update. Dashboard indicator lights were giving false alerts. He did warn us that the update may not resolve the issue. It didn’t. It would have been helpful if he’d shared that Ford modules for 2012 F150’s were a common issue requiring replacement. More
I had purchased my 2017 f150 at Ocean Park brand new! I have taken the vehicle to quick lube at Ocean Park since new. I usually speak with a service agent ROB and he is great...polite.... engaging and I have taken the vehicle to quick lube at Ocean Park since new. I usually speak with a service agent ROB and he is great...polite.... engaging and accommodating. ROB is great at this job. I get the oil change called "The Works" at around $124.00 and some minor tax. This consists of a number checks checked off on a pre programmed sheet. This includes tire pressure, tire rotation, mm left on brakes and tires, fluid levels etc. On this occasion I also got the rear brakes and rotors done. I retrieve my truck and am about to drive home when I notice on the sheet that the tires being rotated box has NOT been checked off. I go back into the Quick Lube office and Rob is not present and a new service man is present. I said you didn't rotate the tires as prescribed by the "the works"...I said," why not" and the new agent says, "it does NOT need it" and I say, " who says so"? At this point he shows me a metal gauge of some type. I disagree as I have over 10,000 km since the last rotation and the manual says rotate the tires every 10,000. I have just returned from a long trip. I leave the area but I further check "the works" Sheet and it shows that the tire pressure has been set to the specs on the door of the truck. I check the tire pressure and it is 32 PSI. The door sticker says put 35 PSI in each tire while cold...I went into the nearest shell station and filled the tires. Either they have changed the policy to expedite service as they are busy and/or you intend to charge more in the future to rotate tires? I have always had great service at quick lane and Rod is great to work with....however I am taking time to write about a couple of small things that impact the overall performance. I do often recommend Quick Lane and my recommendation isn't done lightly. I hope this doesn't sound picky but minor things do aggravate people... Thanks but it has been great..... More
