I have taken my car to Ocean Park Ford before and had been happy with their service. However this time it went completely sideways. Final repairs were done well but the scheduling of repairs was absolu been happy with their service. However this time it went completely sideways. Final repairs were done well but the scheduling of repairs was absolutely ridiculous! My original appointment was April 17, 2023. After initial repairs were done, the mechanic advised that the car would need an expensive part from the States which would take two weeks for delivery. In the meantime, he advised that the car cannot be driven or the engine may seize. I rented a car from Enterprise. My next appt is set for May 5th, 18 days later. On May 5th parts were installed but the car won’t start. It sat too long, (hybrid). An advanced diagnostic test was done and the mechanic advised that it will need a coil and tuneup. The Servicing department has a backup in appointments and now the car can’t be done for another 19 days, until May 24th. I requested a loaner from Ocean Park Ford and was placed on a wait list. May 24 arrives for my appointment, then May 25 & 26 pass by. I am advised that my appointment has somehow been “lost” but apparently no one else’s appointment has been because now they are trying to “fit me in”. I gave up renting a car because my bill with Enterprise was now $1440.60 . I do want to say that throughout all of this, my service rep, Heather, was absolutely wonderful and always kept me informed as to progress or lack thereof. However, you could see she is working within a scheduling system that appears to be chaotic. Ocean Park Ford loaned me a car on May 27th because by then, this was the last straw and I am outraged. My car was eventually repaired on May 30, 2023. The car sat on the Ocean Park Ford lot for 25 days from May 5th to May 30th , not waiting for parts, just due to scheduling issues. This is not good customer service and I will not recommend them to anyone for servicing if this issue continues. More
We scheduled an appointment to have our CMax serviced. This would have been a fairly expensive service as we had a number of issues to address. In the past the service department has provided a ride back to our home, a distance of 10km, while the service is performed. Today they refused to do this. They claimed this was due to the price of gas. I figure the cost of gas to the dealership would have been less than $3.00. We will no longer be having our vehicle serviced here nor will we consider purchasing another vehicle from this dealership. More

My appointment was booked in advance and upon my arrival the consummate professional, John Trutter, Service Advisor, received my car and arranged for a courtesy shuttle service with the personality-plus driver named Cleve. Carl in Parts was willing to drive me if my schedule required a ride immediately. Who could ask for more attention? But wait. My welcome to Ocean Park Ford didn't stop there. Phil Jessa, the General Manager, spotted me talking with John Trutter and walked over, extended his hand and greeted me. He didn't need to do that. I hadn't 'spotted' him. He just took the opportunity and the initiative to come over and speak to me. That's what sets Ocean Park Ford apart from other Dealerships and quite frankly, most businesses. Their sincere professional warmth and extraordinary Customer Service. All of the shop work required was, as always, handled efficiently and expertly. This firm deserves a 5 Star Plus Rating all of the time. More
