Service provides no customer service. Car is never ready when promised. My 2 hour service call took a day and a half for a recall. Not only that, the recall required the DEF fluid to be removed and replaced. I was charged $30 for a jug of DEF to be put in. According to the service manager, Chrysler only provide 1 gallon of DEF and is not enough to test the system, so they had to add another jug. I received the truck back with the same amount of DEF as I had when I took it in. They offered to remove the DEF and refund me the $30 dollars. I guess throwing away the DEF is better than providing customer service. Very disappointed. More
Never buy a car from these guys. It’s a shame that people like Andrew, the sales manager and his sales guy . Heesham is a bad example of customer service. They are just a bad people in the car business and they lie a lot on every single thing don’t give your deposit for anything unless you get your car because they will not give you your deposit back at any cost. I purchased a 2022 Ram truck a couple of months ago. The initial sale was fine and pleasant; however, since then the follow own service has been very poor. To begin with I was told that a touch up paint bottle would be mailed to me (as there were a few rock chips that were on the front of the truck when I picked it up) but it never was. I have had a few issues with the front shocks and radio screen that required servicing, which should have been covered under the extended warranty that I purchased, and after calling the salesman and leaving multiple messages no one ever got back to me. I have now pretty much given up on dealing with Oakville Chrysler Dodge as no one seems to follow up with their customers. This was the first time that I ever purchased a Dodge product (have driven Silverados for many years) and although I am happy with the actual truck (minus the issues with my front shocks and radio screen turning itself off) I must say that I am very unhappy with this particular dealership. This is unfortunate as I had high hopes for Oakville Chrysler Dodge. 1 Star rating :( More
OAKVILLE DODGE Not pleased at all. This dealership charged $535.00 for the simple replacement of my lost 2020 Grand Caravan key fob and the programming required (a 15 minute job). Key fob was NOT complete as the physical key, which is normally included, was missing. Returned to the dealership only to be advised that this 'key' was not included, but could be purchased from them for an extra charge. And then it would have to be 'cut' in order to open the doors. Found the Jeep online, contacted sales rep. Angelo Luzi to negotiate the price and value of trade. Drove 5 hours to finalize the transaction with Angelo and Esteban Bernal. I’m not sure there are enough characters to provide my entire negative experience so I’ll focus on the largest issues. The first sales rep we were assigned is clearly in the wrong job. Barely greeted us, no personality, asked us if we wanted to ‘see’ the vehicle as if we were going to spend $75K on a car we haven’t seen. We happened to see another sales rep that my husband knew so we were able to work with Leo on the sale. He was fine, no concerns initially and we purchased a beautiful 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Leo ‘threw in’ the trailer hitch for ‘free’ as that was a must have for us. When we picked it up, we noticed that the ‘free’ hitch caused damage to the bumper, it was scratched in a couple of places and was not put back on properly, it was misaligned on one side. They also broke the clip that holds the back up sensor in place which we didn’t know until we got home and the car would not reverse so we had to disarm the sensors completely. They are still not working. The passenger side door is also misaligned, it doesn’t close properly. When I documented my concerns and sent them to Leo, he told me to call Andrew the General Manager. Wouldn’t it make sense for Andrew to call me as the customer? And the best part to the story, 2 days ago we planned a family fishing trip which would be the first time using the trailer hitch and guess what? They never programmed it to activate the wiring so the trailer lights weren’t working so trip ruined. I text Leo to find out if the trailer needed to be programmed, I even apologized for bothering him on a Sunday - I got zero response. Unprofessional to say the least. I simple acknowledgement of ya, we messed up again would have been fine so I can add it to the list of issues. I do love the vehicle but the sales and service from this location is less than acceptable. We will continue to share this negative experience and would not recommend purchasing from this dealer. I was always told to look after my car because in return it will look after you for service and value. So my 3 mth oil change was due. So upon inspection the Technician noticed that the left ball joint ha it will look after you for service and value. So my 3 mth oil change was due. So upon inspection the Technician noticed that the left ball joint had been completely separated from the knuckle. Thank goodness I took my car in and god only knows what would have happened to me and the car on the highway! Thanks to Ash and the Technicians for taking care of me in this matter. Had an oil change and ball joint replaced in one day. Recommend this dealership at all times. Staff always treat me well. More
