However, my visit to the local Dodge dealership with my mother-in-law's car was very pleasant. I felt I had to take the time to show my appreciation. I showed up late to start things off. The front desk staff (John) was understanding and accommodating, even though they seemed very busy. He had the car pulled into the shop within a few minutes, it felt more like seconds. But, I was racing to work after, so I know it took 6 1/2 minutes to pull in. Very impressive, considering that most of my visits to my car company had left me wondering if they forgot about my car. I was contacted within a reasonable timeframe by John, instructing me that I needed a few fluids changed. He suggested I get ready to get the front brakes changed, as they were approaching the replacement marker. After talking to my mother-in-law, who mentioned she has never got the front brakes changed, even though the car just passed the 75,000 marker. I decided to treat her to new brakes and save myself a future visit. John made the visit seem very comfortable and relaxing, with no added pressure to purchase non warranty items. He was timely, efficient and able to answer questions very quickly. I recognized his recommendations were more than reasonable, and needed, as I learned from my drive to the dealership. All in all, I left very pleased with my total bill, and the length of my visit. I would definitely recommend John and his fellow mechanics in the back, (not sure who worked on my car though). I will also be looking at leasing a dodge vehicle when my lease runs out. With a very nice looking new car lineup, and excellent service. I think it is more than justified. It is my first time buying a new vehcile and had millions of questions. I was there everyday, after closing a deal until pick up, with questions and concerns. Most car salesmen would care less about what I had to ask as the deal was done but Mike and his team took the time to look into every question I ask and answered every concern I brought up. The sales manager Frank was extremely busy this weekend but made sure to follow up with everything and would check in to make sure I was happy with the deal that we had made. Chris in financing went through every little detail of the agreement until I was comfortable with all of it. Explaining the warrenty probably 5 times. Finally when I went to take ownership of my new Jeep the president Gord made a point to come out and go through my vehicle with me and congratulate and thank me for my business. I set an appointment at 10:00AM, I arrived there early, John Dart was already waiting for me. The oil change was done in less than 30 minutes, they had a service guy to work on the scratches - impressive work both on the seat and dashboard, all issues fixed in less than 1 hour all in all. They also searched for all TBS that may apply to my truck, all clean. He put in a request with Chrysler to get a new steering wheel, all approved and done in the same day! John definitely knows what he is doing in the service department; he knows all the procedures, he knows the trucks, he sticks to the deadlines promised, he is polite and actually listens to what you have to say; the dealership should get more people like him. He adds value to the team and they managed to beat the quality of work from my previous GM dealership by far. I have yet to see a single guy xxxxxxx around the service department doing nothing; and they all look clean, not like out of an oil barrel and they are all busy. John is the proof there are people that get things done and done right the first time. Thanks John ! Much appreciated, you made my day ! More
