It is difficult to recover from such an experience,as a dealer,without removing the bad apple (Umar),as his methodology is unlikely to change.The incentive to behave the way he did,is additional bonus monetarily (commission) and also corporately driven, (profit).There seems to be no one policing that unscrupulous behavior,nor back- checking to insure no rip-off.My innocent son would have been burned,had he not asked for advice.as it was,the dealer still got the benefit of a unnecessary road hazard warranty sale(which was already covered by the tire manufacturer at no cost.)Refund my son's $500 deposit,and I might consider the penalty paid..after all I wasted 2 hours of my time waiting for the paper to be completed,that was supposed to have been done before we arrived.

Our reputation is very important to us and we learn from each customer on how to improve and provide our customers with a better experience. With a lot of discussion with management on how to improve and help you with the experience you had we will refund your son's $500 deposit in hopes that you see how seriously we take this situation.

I altered my review,and I will send my son to pick up his refund. For the future,I suggest you have an individual who reviews the contract,and can alter it,who is not affiliated with the sale,and has no incentive to benefit from the sale,as in commissions.He/She could then explain and document the sales,as in ISO procedurals.The biggest stake would be for Oakville Chrysler to go bankrupt from a lack of sales ,by being perceived as dishonest and using shady business practices.The biggest gain is a reputation for total disclosure and transparencyThis is more important than the few dollars gained from a low profit turnover.
