Yes, that's what I've been charged yesterday , Aug 27th when I came to Toyota Oreagans on Kempt rd , Halifax for a next planned servicing ..... But before the vehicle was taken to a service the amount of 124 $ +tax was shown me as proof of how much will this service cost. Here is the chronicle of my ''Good '' experience with this dealer : First week after the car delivery to me in November 2010 we have successfully avoided the nearly deadly accident because of a breaks !!! When breaking at the lights the break suddenly went all way down not allowing the vehicle to stop .The Yaris I purchased in November 2010 was listed as 2010 but it was standing for over a year at the manufacturer since 2009 .Due to long standing at the manufacturer site the breaks were heavily corroded and probably coursing the weakening in a break lines . Till now I don't know the real reason for this happened . I was just relying on what the dealer sais but there is no way to check it . In less than a year , October 2011 again we were involved in a possible accident related to a condition of tires. When switching to a winter tires we noticed that all 4 tires have a radial cracks by the whole length at the corner between the tread and a side surface . And all this coursed by a weather factor .The car was standing for a long period of time and was subjected to a hot and cold weather changes that led to a tire deterioration. Another fact is that the dealer has never done the oil change before delivery it to me on a day of purchasing .That means the vehicle was remaining with a same oil for over a year + 8,000km till the fist oil change . Can you imagine how big the damage can be to an engine with such an oil !!!! The only thing the dealer agreed to compensate was just 1 free oil change . They didn't satisfied the issue with a tires so I went to a Good Year customer services and received a substantial discount but spent anyway the unplanned amount towards a new tires . So now you have a whole picture of whether there is a difference between a Big Dealer and a Roadside Dealer and whether it's a good investment to a vehicle which is posted as 2010 but manufactured in 2009 ... The biggest thing that impressed me and gave me no doubt that I will be returning to O'Regan's was after the agreement on financing was made, we were called a day later and advised that they found an area on the contract they could adjust and lower our down payment and monthly costs! How many dealerships out there would choose to save their customer money vs money in their own pockets when the costs had already been agreed to, this truly demonstrated their commitment to customer service.
