Due to some recent financial changes (not good for us) my wife had to make the decision to down size her vehicle. This being a some what embarrassing situation I was hesitant to reach for help from a dealers wife had to make the decision to down size her vehicle. This being a some what embarrassing situation I was hesitant to reach for help from a dealership as I know how usually its all about the dollar to them and they could care less about your situation. My opinion that all car sales men are money hungry sharks was changed when I met Tyler Noye at O'Regan's Halifax. Right off the bat he was very well mannered and I felt comfortable telling him my situation, and he surprisingly was genuinely empathetic to the situation and did everything and more to get us into a vehicle we could afford, had all the checks in the box we required in a vehicle and we could feel comfortable that the vehicle was reliable. I was also impressed with the work of Dean Cook who swiftly took care of getting us financed and out the door in a timely manor. What I wasn't overly impressed with was a lack of compassion from the store managers who were only worried (in my opinion) with the profit to be made rather then the customer relationship that could be made. As I always say you treat me right I'll treat you right, meaning I will be back and telling everyone I know to go to this location. Another negative point was the fact that when giving us a trade value on our truck they factored in a WHOPPING $1200 for detailing and not one vehicle I looked at was clean to the standard I would expect of a dealership. Over all we were happy with our experience thanks mostly to a truly ethical salesmen and we will ensure everyone knows to talk to Tyler next time they want a vehicle. More

Peter was very soft spoken, down to earth, friendly & gave us all the time we needed. Peter was honest right from moment we met, he was NOT like most sales people we have met....who are pushy, quick and in it to make as much money as possible and fast. Peter Rogerson went above and beyond after the sale of the car. He called us a few times to see if there was anything we needed and if we were happy with the car. As with most car sales once you drive off the car lot you never hear from them after. Well this was NOT the case with O'Regan's on Kempt Road in Halifax. Recently we purchased a used car. We had it inspected by an independent mechanic and it was given the green light. Not long after we purchased it, it developed engine problems, which were not apparent or e an independent mechanic and it was given the green light. Not long after we purchased it, it developed engine problems, which were not apparent or easily detectable at the time of purchase. Todd and O'Regan's could have told us 'tough luck' but they stand by their vehicles and, in partnership with Hyundai, took care of all the repairs and paid for anything not covered by the warranty. They went above and beyond to make sure we weren't stuck with a problem, so I feel that their integrity takes a lot of the risk out of buying a used car. If you are buying a used car, go to O'Regan's first and trust that you'll be taken care of. More
