We factory-ordered a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe PHEV and immediately noticed a driveline vibration as soon as I drove it off the lot. The vehicle had two dangerous incidents where it posed a serious risk to our safety, along with countless ongoing issues. Hyundai Canada has now attempted to dismiss the vibration as a “normal characteristic of the vehicle,” which is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the car began experiencing unintended acceleration, a serious safety issue that the dealership failed to document or address. This vehicle is now too dangerous to drive, forcing us to purchase another car and park what has turned out to be an epic lemon. Despite incurring over $10,000 in legal fees, the dealership and Hyundai Canada refuse to take accountability. Adding insult to injury, when I asked the dealer if I could store the vehicle on their lot until this matter is resolved, I was told they’d charge me $20 per day. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The vehicle is a garbage product, and the dealership's response has been appalling. I would strongly caution anyone against purchasing from this dealership or trusting Hyundai Canada. More

I recently purchased a used AWD vehicle from Northstar Hyundai and my experience was disappointing. It was expressed to me that the vehicle had received new tries prior to the sale. However, after taking Hyundai and my experience was disappointing. It was expressed to me that the vehicle had received new tries prior to the sale. However, after taking the vehicle to an outside mechanic, I was informed that the tires installed on the vehicle are not suitable for an AWD system and are putting excessive stress on the drivetrain. I am not sure if this was done to save money on the dealerships end or due to unqualified personnel replacing the tires. When I spoke with the dealership to resolve the issue and request that they replace the tires I was told that they had no responsibility to ensure that the tires installed by their employees wouldn't damage the vehicle and in their opinion they were considered "safe" and therefore passed the internal inspection. I question the reliability of the safety inspection process considering the damage that this could cause to the vehicle. More
