Not happy at all with the service this time. Northstar used to be so good and now not so much. The upselling is ridiculous, and the upselling when they didn’t even remove the filters to know if Northstar used to be so good and now not so much. The upselling is ridiculous, and the upselling when they didn’t even remove the filters to know if they needed cleaning. When we lifted the hood there was no visible fingerprints or even a movement of the dust under the hood to indicate that they saw they needed changing. But sent me a text within minutes of leaving the dealership saying that my filters are dirty and need to be changed. Such a disappointment. Definitely will think before going back again for an oil change. More
My ac broke during a heat wave & the day before heading out of town for a big family trip. They were upfront about expenses and called prior to doing extra work, took time to explain things and kept an eye out of town for a big family trip. The service here is incredibly bad. I have always had gms, same with my family and never had a problem with dealships until this one. I moved to the area a little over 1.5 years ago and every time I have had to go here the service has gotten worse and worse. You can tell the people here only give good service to their buddies. I had a check engine light come on and tried to call the service department right at opening multiple times and just kept going to voice-mail so I went in to see if they could do a scan (takes MAYBE 3 minutes, and most places the service counter folk are competent enough to perform this task, but not at jack carter), when I got there I was completely dismissed. The lady and guy at the front desk literally just sat there and went "come back next week". A 3 MINITE SCAN LOL OKAY! my car is still under warranty so if the issue becomes something bigger gm gets to pay for it, whatever. I was just trying to be proactive but jack carter gm doesn't know what that is. More
