Horrible Service Department The Service department here is terrible. We have been waiting over a year for our car to be fixed... we are still waiting and receiving no answers. We are getting the run around from our Service advisor, and when we have emailed the manager, he does not respond or provide any input. I am tempted to take my service elsewhere. I Would never recommend any one to visit their service department. More

I figured that taking a vehicle to the dealership would get me the best service. WRONG! I was quoted $750 for a repair to the head. The technician botched the job and made things worse so the service advisor tells me that now the entire engine has to be removed and the head sent in to a machine shop and did I want to go ahead? I suggested that maybe they should give me a price first before I make that kind of a decision. She seemed surprised by that but agreed to call me back later. When she called back with the $6000 quote in addition to the $750 I owed for the botched repair, I said no thanks. I'd have to be crazy to spend that kind of money on a van of that age. She said that it's very expensive to remove and re-install an engine. I questioned whether the engine really had to be removed or not but she insisted that it did. I had no choice but to pay the $750 or they wouldn't release the van. I had it towed to another shop and they were able to remove the head, have the machine shop fix it and re-install it for $2500 and they DIDN'T have to remove the engine. Whatever you do, DON'T use this dealership, they can't be trusted. More

Could barely get it to the dealership for repair The charged my 1800 for front end work. Drove a block and the exact same issue occured They did not test drive before or after the repair, or otherwise they would have noticed it was the wrong repair, and ineffective next round they swapped out the steering box, gave me a break on 2 hours of labour (big wow) but still charged full price on parts had to take it back in again becuase the steering wheel whas hugely off centre. Did they take it for a test after the last repair ?? So I hardly drove it, in 2.5 months cause I am scared to get behind the wheel. Start up the truck after this timeframe and get a Yellow light on Engine and airbag at SAME time. Drove it and guess what, after a left turn, the steering wheel violently rocks left and right, and then stops, but steering wheel is off center I take it in, they charge me 300 for diagnosis and wont reset the fault codes for airbag or engine. I begged them to do this and see if the lights come back on, however they refused. They did not reajust the steering back to center. OH, and then said there is NOTHING wrong with my steering. Guess I just imagined it... What a horrid experince. I called my local repair place CERTEC and they will reset the codes for free (will take 10 min) and investiage my steering issue for free, and charge me if repairs are needed. my advise is DO NOT EVER USE THIS SHOP. They are not courtous and techs need better training. More

I took my vehicle for repairs, they said i I bought the brand new Ford Fiesta from this dealer in July 2014. I meet with an accident in December 2014. I took my vehicle for repairs, they said it is not drive able and they will repair it as soon as insurance company send the approval. My vehicle is still at dealership, since 23/12/14. Every time I called them, they said that insurance company didn't send the approval. But they were laying to me for 13 days and when I asked when can I get it repaired they were saying it will take another 3-4 weeks. When my insurance company asked the reason they said it is because my vehicle is not drive able, they were repairing other vehicles. Now I don't have a rental vehicle to travel. I am really stuck because of the bad service and misdirection of the people at North Star Ford. More

After not hearing from him I followed up a week later and he told me he would call me back. Another week went by without hearing from him so I call back and again he tells me he will look into it and call me back. The following week I have to call and threaten to come down and interrupt whatever he is doing in order to get him to talk to me. Turns out, rust on a four year old Ford is not their problem. DON'T trust Ford quality, and DON'T trust their service. More
Took our service truck to the Cochrane dealership to get a new diesel engine installed. What a mistake !!! Supposed to be ready on monday, go there, no sorry now tuesday, on and on for the whole week. You ask them to phone you, well you might as well get a rock to do it.... Same result. Long story short, the technicians in Cochrane don't know what their doing!!! Period. And that owner , Marty, that you hear on the radio, biggest scam artist on the planet. My advice is to stay as far away from these jerkoffs as possible. More
I used to have good service when this dealership was Crowfoot Ford. Since it was bought out, I find the customer service is pretty poor. They cannot schedule appointments properly. They charge for diagnosis on top of doing the work. They should deduct the diagnosis fee if you get the work done there like they used to do under Crowfoot Ford. The service people at the front desk talk as though I do not know anything about cars. I only go there now to get things serviced that no other place can do. I would not buy another new vehicle from them.The staff that I knew all moved to another dealership downtown. My vehicle has had major services and mid range services done there over the last 12 months then today they tell me that the tracking has not been done for over 2 years. Just what am I paying for? We purchased a ford edge from this dealership as it is very close to where my wife works which would make the service easy as she is a block away from work. She have been back to this dealership twice and she had had two bad experiences and now refuses to go back because she felt that the service guys were rude to her and didn't care to listen to what she had to say. We use to have a toyota and went to Charlesglen and have to say there is no comparison when it come to customer service between the two dealerships. I have to ad that both times we took the edge in was for warranty work that was declined. We paid the 1st time but not the second. We now plan to go to a different dealership. Two bad experiences is enough and we won't go back! More
I brought my vehicle for oil change and request to fix front passenger side. But when I pick up my vehicle, I noticed that some white mark on driver side tire. They fixed driver side tire. They did not fix passenger side tire. They fixed driver side tire without my permission. This means, they do two wrongs!! I would like to say, I do not recommend this dealer anymore. More
