Prompt service but cost was more than quoted Latch on rear lift door of Ford Escape did not release/open by manual switch or Fob. Service was prompt to release and replace the rear door latch. While the initial servicing was disappointing, I am happy with the resolution. Previous review here: Bought a new car a few years back and have been bringing in for servicing. Has been a good experience until this year. In July, brought my car in for service. Requested In the initial service request to have damage to my hood looked at by the body shop (on site)for an estimate. When I dropped off, I requested it again. When I picked up, they couldn't find my keys and they also hadn't done the estimate but they encouraged me to come back and get it done on my own. They had ordered a part for me for a leak. I again made my appointment and I again asked for the hood estimate. When I dropped off, I asked again for a 4th time. When I picked up, despite reworking my day, they informed that they had forgotten to do it yet again. I don't feel they value my time. I will not be using them for my hood repair. And they will need to impress me on my final warranty service appointments or I won't be recommending them ever again. More
Careless and inexcusabley incompetent Along with an oil and filter change for my Ford 350 diesel Super Duty, I requested two new batteries be installed. When I picked the truck up and loo Along with an oil and filter change for my Ford 350 diesel Super Duty, I requested two new batteries be installed. When I picked the truck up and looked under the hood, I found corrosive dust from the old batteries all over the new one, including corrosive dust on top of one of the new battery posts, if you can imagine that! Old corrosion was still on the end of one of the positive cables. WHAT A MESS! Also, the clamp holding down the battery was still very corroded. I spoke to the manager who had the truck taken back in and got the job done properly. While waiting, I discovered that I had been charged ONE FULL HOUR for the battery installation, so had to get that corrected as well. (By corrected, I mean the charge was changed to about 3/4 of an hour) These guys obviously work in very very slow motion, or simply overstate the time required. Now I wonder about the quality of the other work I paid for which isn't so easily seen. I can think of no explanation for such shoddy work other than a total lack of professionalism and the most crappy attitude towards a customer that I have experienced in over 54 years of auto ownership. More
