brand new ford Escape 2015 Car going dead if not driven for 2 days. Sent a complaint to Ford Canada - they are telling me I have to drive my car more. Where is it written that the dealership /service dept. can dictate how or when you drive your car! This is what they are telling me about it ---- "The electronics draws more of a charge from the battery and if it’s not charged fully on a regular basis it will drain the battery completely down. " Thus must be driven 30 km every two days to charge the battery. they should have disclose this when purchasing the vehicle! If they had I would have never bought the car in the first Place!!!! More
Extremely poor service I booked an appointment to have the brake pads replaced on my F150 and a regular service. When I picked it up, they hadn't done the brakes, they said I booked an appointment to have the brake pads replaced on my F150 and a regular service. When I picked it up, they hadn't done the brakes, they said they were too busy and booked me for the next week. They also charged me $70 to inspect the brakes, I never asked them to inspect them, just replace them. They told me they needed replaced on the previous visit. So I take it back again today, I had a 7:30 "appointment". I made sure I was first in line when their doors opened at 7:00. I called at 3:00 to see if it was finished, they hadn't even started on it. They were too busy again, too bad. More

Horrible Service Department The Service department here is terrible. We have been waiting over a year for our car to be fixed... we are still waiting and receiving no answers. We are getting the run around from our Service advisor, and when we have emailed the manager, he does not respond or provide any input. I am tempted to take my service elsewhere. I Would never recommend any one to visit their service department. More

Absolutely AWFUL service department My 7 year old E250 van broke down and Northstar was the closest dealership. I figured that taking a vehicle to the dealership would get me the best s My 7 year old E250 van broke down and Northstar was the closest dealership. I figured that taking a vehicle to the dealership would get me the best service. WRONG! I was quoted $750 for a repair to the head. The technician botched the job and made things worse so the service advisor tells me that now the entire engine has to be removed and the head sent in to a machine shop and did I want to go ahead? I suggested that maybe they should give me a price first before I make that kind of a decision. She seemed surprised by that but agreed to call me back later. When she called back with the $6000 quote in addition to the $750 I owed for the botched repair, I said no thanks. I'd have to be crazy to spend that kind of money on a van of that age. She said that it's very expensive to remove and re-install an engine. I questioned whether the engine really had to be removed or not but she insisted that it did. I had no choice but to pay the $750 or they wouldn't release the van. I had it towed to another shop and they were able to remove the head, have the machine shop fix it and re-install it for $2500 and they DIDN'T have to remove the engine. Whatever you do, DON'T use this dealership, they can't be trusted. More
service deptartment has no clue what is going on I bought a 2014 Ford Escape and spoke to 4 different people in the service department regarding having a remote started installed, not one person told I bought a 2014 Ford Escape and spoke to 4 different people in the service department regarding having a remote started installed, not one person told me I had to bring in both sets of keys. When I arrived early one Monday a.m. I was advised I needed to bring in both sets. Not one person ever called me back to re-book the appointment. When I picked up my new car I pointed out to the sales manager a flaw in the sun viser, I was told they would fix/replace that part under warrenty. 5 months later am told they will not replace or fix it under warrenty. I am not impressed with that dealership at all. More
