When I first mentioned this while bringing the car in for service, NS Ford told me they would look at it. When I came to collect my car at the end of the day, I asked about the problem and they simply said that they could see anything wrong and thus didn't do anything. There clearly was an issue so I asked them why they didn't call during the day to get further clarification from me. The receptionist had no answer for this. I then brought in the car for a second time and clearly showed them the problem before leaving. They now saw it firsthand and promised to look at it. At the end of the day, they indeed concluded something was wrong, and had to order parts. A month later, the parts had come in and I brought in the car for the 3rd time. It was supposed to be done in a day, but took two days in the end (I did get a rental car). Picked up the car the next day. Everything was supposedly working well I was told. The problem with the sensor light seems indeed fixed, but now the inside passenger door handle does not work! I will have to go back again (4th time) to get this fixed. This is very sloppy work and what could have taken 2 trips to the dealer, now will take 4. More

Also noticed that tread wear on new tires was listed as 7/32" in one place on report and 8/32" in another (not critical but interesting). More

Excellent Customer Service!! I live a distance from Northstar Ford and had to drop my vehicle off for servicing on a Saturday. I expected to just leave my keys at reception but surprisingly learned that their service department was open until 1pm which meant I got to explain myself directly to a service representative. Fiona took my information down - promised me a call by 1030am next business day. Right on schedule I got a call from Fiona telling me the problem and when it the repairs would be completed. The day I expected the repairs done, I got a call and was able to pick up the car after work. Prior to picking up the vehicle, I received a copy of my work order by email. When I read the work order notes, the notes were so thorough it gave me great confidence they looked at every detail. Thank you Fiona and to your entire service team! More
