Frustrating Service Advisor I took my 2014 Escape in for an oil change, swap out the winter tires and a detailing Mar 18/ 2016 and was told by the service advisor (Scott Lepsen I took my 2014 Escape in for an oil change, swap out the winter tires and a detailing Mar 18/ 2016 and was told by the service advisor (Scott Lepsenyi) that the vehicle would be ready that day at 5:00pm. He phoned in the afternoon to say the vehicle was ready but the detailing was not done because they were too busy, and that a TPS was faulty and it would cost $ 185.00. The vehicle is still under warranty and I asked if that would be covered. When I got the workorder the charge for the TPS was still on, so I asked Scott if he had inquired whether it would be a warranty item. He said he HAD NOT checked with the service manager, so I requested that he do so and the assistant service manager came out and said the item was under warranty. I had to bring the vehicle back the next week for detailing and was given a discount on the price for my troubles. On April 12/2016 I brought my 2010 F-150 in for the "works" package and detailing and again I had Scott for a service advisor. On the initial walk around, he noticed a license plate light bulb was burnt out and I requested that be fixed as well. The truck was to be ready by 5:00pm. but it was nearly 6:00pm when the vehicle ready for pickup, and then the cashier took another ten minutes trying to locate the workorder. When I got the vehicle the light was not repaired and the detailing was not complete (no engine shampoo). I brought the vehicle in the next day and pointed out these deficiencies to Scott who said he had forgot to put the light on the workorder and that an engine shampoo was not included in the Gold detailing package. The female service advisor two desks down overheard our conversation and brought over a brochure to show that the engine shampoo was included and personally took the truck over to the detail shop to have the work done (my compliments to her, very good customer service skills; but forgot to get her name). The truck came back in a few minutes. I was very disappointed with this particular service advisor, especially after having very poor customer service on two occasions and will take both my Ford vehicles to another dealership for servicing in the future. More

Worth it, Thorough and Solid I had a cruze, it ran well minus the engine failure, and lack of support from shag chev... Very tainted history with Chev. So the wife and I decided, we would try something different, someone different. And we walked into Ford Northstar, passed it plenty of times when doing errands. Figured why not? Met with this rep Kevin, and realized for my work needs, I needed taller space for the various parts I work with. I also needed something reliable, long term use, and able to keep up with the miles I drive easily each year. Which landed us to a Ford Escape 2015 Titanium. Solid vehicle (seriously, love how it handled the snow in Late January). The sound is amazing, even hooked up a dashcam very easily. I haven't had a complaint about it, and even when we had a flat, under warranty they fixed it right up. When kevin listened and understood what I needed/liked, we landed the Escape because it had the best of both interests. Enough tork to keep going easily, but plenty of space for those big jobs, or moving events. If I had to buy again, I would certainly see him first. I strongly recommend choosing Northstar Ford, Especially Kevin, as he really listens to your needs, and gets you what you want and need in life. Very respectable. Thanks! Additional note, When working with Finance for the right plan to make this happen, Mike showed us the maintenance and warranty options, and we jumped right on them. They are a seriously worthwhile investment in the longevity of this vehicle. I seriously recommend these options when choosing. It made our investment alot less stressful having support as well for the majority of our needs. :) More

Mitch made us feel important and give us great advise. We have also dealt with Fiona Rea and Nolen Christensen. Both also very helpful. Shelly Moulton finish the visit with a STAR. Overall everyone greets us with a smile. Also it was GREAT to find out we get 50% discount to change our tires back to all season. We likely will be purchasing a new vehicle in couple years. customer oriented I have a Diesel F350. I live outside of the city so I do not have access to customer drop-off service. When I take my vehicle in for service it is in I have a Diesel F350. I live outside of the city so I do not have access to customer drop-off service. When I take my vehicle in for service it is inconvenient for me to arrange for someone to pick me up, than hours later have them drop me off again to pickup my vehicle. This dealership allows me to bring the unit in first thing in the morning (7:00 AM) and wait the 1.5 to 2 hours for the service to be completed. Great customer service. More
