Rectified a difficult problem with 100% result I appreciated that the people at Ford Service stayed with me until the problem was solved. It wasn't problem as the "creaking" noise I had would not I appreciated that the people at Ford Service stayed with me until the problem was solved. It wasn't problem as the "creaking" noise I had would not always sound. However with extra test drives, and listening to what I was describing, personnel were to determine and fix the problem. I was also impressed with the fact that they were willing to send a courtesy car if it was difficult for me to arrange a ride. More

Avalanche Repair Not happy with service. I brought my truck in for repair of 4 problems, only got 1 repaired. they charged an extra $600 for 3 code readings. Their me Not happy with service. I brought my truck in for repair of 4 problems, only got 1 repaired. they charged an extra $600 for 3 code readings. Their mechanics seem lazy as they did not seem to want to work on the other problems claiming they did not have the proper information or equipment to complete the repairs. I ended up taking the Avalanche to an independent mechanic in Cochrane and they solved all my problems with no problem. I bought a new 2015 Escape from Northstar and I will not be taking it in to them for anymore regular service. Also I replace the Avalanche with a new truck in the fall and I will not be dealing with Northstar in the future. More
