Avalanche Repair Not happy with service. I brought my truck in for repair of 4 problems, only got 1 repaired. they charged an extra $600 for 3 code readings. Their me Not happy with service. I brought my truck in for repair of 4 problems, only got 1 repaired. they charged an extra $600 for 3 code readings. Their mechanics seem lazy as they did not seem to want to work on the other problems claiming they did not have the proper information or equipment to complete the repairs. I ended up taking the Avalanche to an independent mechanic in Cochrane and they solved all my problems with no problem. I bought a new 2015 Escape from Northstar and I will not be taking it in to them for anymore regular service. Also I replace the Avalanche with a new truck in the fall and I will not be dealing with Northstar in the future. More

Great F-150 Service I had a couple of issues electrically with my truck. I was a bit frustrated that I was being quoted on two diagnostic fees for each issue but agreed I had a couple of issues electrically with my truck. I was a bit frustrated that I was being quoted on two diagnostic fees for each issue but agreed with the service. My service adviser indicated he would do everything he could to see the proper diagnosis was done. At the end of the day one item was a warranty and the other I was fairly changed for 1/2hour of diagnosis. I was very happy with the upfront explanations and fairness of the overall service. More
