Worst customer service i have ever experienced So this all started when I purchased what I thought were all season tires and had an appointment booked for Wednesday October 19th because I was told So this all started when I purchased what I thought were all season tires and had an appointment booked for Wednesday October 19th because I was told they would be there by the 18th. I called on the 18th and was told by the second person I talked to in parts (the first person said they would call me back and didn't) that they would for sure be there tomorrow (Wednesday) but as it was inconvenient for me to drop my car off I moved my appointment to Friday. On Friday Morning I receive a call from Service saying my tires weren't to arrive for 3-4 days ( I explained I was told that they were supposed to be there on the 19th) With the help from Brittany in service they were able to find me tires which would have been great and this review would have been positive except that although I had expressed I wanted All season tires more than once when I called I was quoted winter tires and these are what was put on my vehicle. What made this experience the worst experience and the reason I will never purchase another vehicle or go back to Northstar ford is that I always learnt in customer service that the customer is always right. However the way Northstar Ford does it is they have to prove you are right to even get so much as an apology and that is all you get. Being that this mix up was discovered at 4 pm on a Friday I was told they don't have anyone available or willing to switch my tires back to my old ones and I would have to wait till Monday! I could have a rental car but if they listen to recordings and find that it is my fault I would have to pay for said rental, I was offended by this and decided to go without a vehicle for the weekend and also because I had to somehow magically get to crowfoot from southland drive by train in less than an hour and I simply didn't make it. On Monday (the day I was told I would hear from them in the morning ) I didn't get a phone call until 1:30 rolled around and I decided to call 3 times and was treated rudely by the order desk being told that "its Monday and we are busy" as the reason why I still don't know the status of my vehicle. Finally at 2:30ish I heard from the manager of service who said that they would put my old tires back on and now leaving this in the hands of the manager of parts to deal with. The manager of parts called me shortly after who I will admit was nice to deal with, she admitted that I not only once but twice said in my call that I wanted All seasons and gave me a quote for 3 more types of tires 2 of which were more than the ones I had already paid for. Needless to say I didn't get anything for my inconvenience, being treated like a liar except for a small apology and now I have an appointment elsewhere to purchase the tires I wanted in the first place. More

F-150 99963 Km service - can not get socket on tire lug nuts, so we need to replace them at a fee of 1/2-1 hour + lug nuts. I would have agreed to have them changed. I would have changed them, however why would I want to pay for the extra time when they need to take them off to start with. when I got the truck home I took the nuts of and changed them with no problem and it only took me 5 minutes. - Told my transmission pan is leaking and if I wanted it serviced at a fee of twice the fee that I would be charged at a repeatable shop. this on top of I would have to pay for a new gasket. I am not sure what the policy is, but if you take the pan off you put a new gasket on. especially with the amount of miles on the vehicle. the vehicle has a 100k drive train warranty. I declined, as I felt like I was being nickle and dimed. - told there is a service advisory to replace the spark plug boots, and that it would cost me 150.00 to do so. I declined as this should be a warranty item. same thing nickle and dimed - a service some time back said my rotors were warped and it would cost me 750.00 for the front. I declined as the cost was way to high and I can do it myself. when I did the brakes the rotors were not warped, the calipers malfunctioned and only half the pad was hitting the rotor. More

Service and tire swap I consistently get good service from this dealership. I have now brought 2 vehicles from here. Buyer beware - Deposits! We learned our lesson the hard way when we gave $1000 deposit on a new F150 sitting on lot, after being at the dealership for a couple of hours. Our u We learned our lesson the hard way when we gave $1000 deposit on a new F150 sitting on lot, after being at the dealership for a couple of hours. Our understanding was that the deposit would be refunded if the financing did not get approved. I signed the purchase agreement stating deposits are non refundable if financing is approved. The mistake was made because we were told only one signature was needed, my 7 month old was freaking out and my husband was dealing with him. The credit application was done for both my husband and I. The financing was approved for myself but not with my husband on the loan. We wanted the loan in both names but unfortunately we could not get our deposit back because I was the only one on the purchase agreement. The dealer has all of their bases covered and would not give the deposit back. They were out no money, they did not bring the vehicle in from somewhere, they literally took the $1000 deposit saying they have every right to keep it, which legally they do. Needless to say we feel like complete morons and are out $1000. I just want other people to be more careful when handing over their credit card, make sure you read everything and have every verbal agreement in writing. This dealership basically called us liars in not so many words and are willing to hold our deposit hostage for one year if we decide to move forward with the purchase with the financing in my name only. More
