Wheel Vibration - Golf R Apparently the low profile winter tires - in conjunction with multi-spoke alloy wheels - resulted in dirt build up inside the wheels, producing vibrat Apparently the low profile winter tires - in conjunction with multi-spoke alloy wheels - resulted in dirt build up inside the wheels, producing vibration due to imbalance. I found it hard to believe that dirt build up was responsible for the vibration problem and voiced my opinion to the Service Advisor, Dale Lakusta. Dale showed me images of the as-found condition of my wheels prior to having them cleaned & balance checked. The size of the front brake discs made it difficult to easily inspect & clean the build up from these wheels while installed. I was treated extremely well & provided with an understanding of & solution to my vibration problem. More
