I showed up and got started on selecting which car would be the best for my lifestyle and needs. Before I knew it I was driving my brand new car away.... SAME DAY!! With their Spot Delivery service I was able to, Choose a car, Test Drive, work out a great Price on the World Car Of The Year (2015 Golf) and drive it away without ever having to leave the dealership. Well, other than to drive down the street to the registry to get that done. Thanks again for all your great work yesterday Northland Volkswagen. I will definitely be sending friends and family your way. -Blayden Hickey More

This is by far the worse car dealership I've been to in town, and I've done business with A LOT. We came in to see a pre-owned vehicle. We asked the salesman we got about the car's story, and got the el in town, and I've done business with A LOT. We came in to see a pre-owned vehicle. We asked the salesman we got about the car's story, and got the eloquent reply "it's a trade-in". We asked another simple question about the vehicle's history to which we got a hasty "I've been busy all morning I know nothing about this car" from the salesman. We should have left at this early sign of lack of courtesy. Inside the office, we got a very short, rushed, and dry review of the vehicle making us feel that we're really bothering this salesman and wasting his time with our business, and we were presented over $1000 of hidden fees besides GST, and told that that's the price so "take it or leave it". He was very condescending and basically did not care to rectify any misunderstanding. When we asked if we can make an offer like all car salesmen propose usually, the guy was cynical and said "sure but it's gonna be rejected right away". In all my dealings with car salesmen I have never encountered such an attitude. The overall demeanor was very nasty. We thanked the guy and walked to the manager. We complained to the manager not about the hidden fees since that wasn't really the issue, but about the rude and nasty conduct of the salesman, and that we are leaving the place with a very negative and displeasing experience and impression. The manager told us that we must have done something to provoke the salesman because he knows him well and this salesman cannot be accused of wrongdoing. He suggested that perhaps we just didn't like the guy and were being accusing for no good reason. He tried to lecture us on the nature of human relationships which was quiet comical as he was talking to a doctor and an engineer. This is the manager whose job description includes ensuring customer satisfaction rather than taking the employees' side and making things worse. He also assured us that the salesman we got was one of his best (really reassuring) and that our complaint must be invalid. He could not even accept our criticism. Anyway, I leave this for you to judge. I personally will not be doing any kind of business with a place that doesn't care about its customers nor their satisfaction and where the employees have a "carte blanche" from the manager to treat customers as they please when it really didn't require much for us to leave satisfied despite the failed sale. I am glad that there's another VW dealer in town. More
