Although it took my car longer than expected to be delivered due to some unforeseen circumstances, Jamie followed up with me and kept me in the loop with all the details. My new car was absolutely perfect when I picked it up! Also, Norm Berard in Finance was excellent to deal with, and made the process very quick and comfortable. I also want to thank Ron Roberts for preparing my new car for pickup, and happily showing me all of the new features and upgrades in my new car. I walked away feeling confident about utilizing all of the new features! Ron also went above and beyond by removing my rubber mats from my old car, washed them and placed them in my new car - I was very impressed and appreciated everything he did for me. I was definitely a VERY happy customer driving off of the sales lot with my new VW and I will recommend Northland Volkswagen to any friends and family looking to buy a new or used VW! Some reservations, but many excellent people I bought my first VW Golf from this dealership in 2010, and had a very positive experience with the sales person, Guy Trahan, who has since been doing I bought my first VW Golf from this dealership in 2010, and had a very positive experience with the sales person, Guy Trahan, who has since been doing a great job of retaining my loyalty by occasional contact to find out if I was happy with my car. Business-like, yet not pushy. I also like their shuttle drivers. The service I had mixed experience with, ranging from excellent at some times and somewhat dubious at others. For example, my last maintenance service recommended by the schedule I received when I purchased the car amounted to $900 (other maintenance was recommended by the service reception person. I accepted the cost, but was suspicious of the short time that it has taken to perform everything I was billed for. My suspicion was fuelled by the fact that on the check-list I was given everything looked pretty much virginal (the tire and break wear, etc.), while a similar check list from 1,5 ago or so had a worse report. Makes you wonder, especially when the $900 services was completed pretty fast. Maybe it's just efficient work, but makes you wonder which results to trust. Overall, still good, I would say. My most recent service was a delight. Ryan, the mechanic, was very generous with his time, replaced my low beam light (for which he had to remove the battery, or at least loosen it, and willing to explain to me and even show how I might be able to do it in the future myself. I had to return the next day as the light seems to have slipped out of place slightly, but he immediately attended to it, patiently redid the whole thing again, and was very personable and professional in the process. Jane was also very nice. More

Great Service, Great Staff, Great Experience! I am someone who comes with a background of having an extremely terrible experience previously purchasing vehicles. So coming over to Northland VW was I am someone who comes with a background of having an extremely terrible experience previously purchasing vehicles. So coming over to Northland VW was a great and fresh experience. Working with Bruce was amazing. He's extremely personable and knows the vehicles extremely well. We spent multiple hours together test driving the 2015 Golf and 2015 Tiguan to figure out which one best suited my needs. I ended up deciding with the Golf and Bruce was very straight forward as to what trend lines/add ons would be best. He was always looking out for your best interest each step of the way. I wouldn't have wanted to work with anyone else! Going through the financing process was a breeze. Even through from start to finish we worked with 3 employees (Norm, Trevor and Jared), they were all extremely great to work with and made the process easy. From the previous bad experiences at another dealership, when we got to the financing stage they would try to get you to sign as quickly as possible, only telling you your monthly payments and realizing later they wrapped in prices you originally didn't know about. Here at Northland VW, Jared walked us through each and every page and made sure to go through every single number. He was able to easily answer any questions we had in regards to our sale. Finally before taking off with the new car, Ron made sure to walk us through the specifics of the vehicle. He had already pre-programmed the car to make it easier for us, and walked us through the dashboard to see if we had any questions. It shows their employees aren't afraid of paying attention to every detail and to make you feel comfortable with your new car. All in all, I would recommend going to this Volkswagen dealership over any other one in Alberta because the amount of service and attention to detail every single staff member took during this process. I bought a Jetta from Northland Volkswagen, and after that experience I don't think I would go anywhere else now. I traded in my Jetta today and bought a convertible beetle. I dealt with Matt Dasilva, he was the first salesman to not treat me like I had no idea of what was going on and how a car operates and I am thankful to him for that. And I know it sounds really corny but after taking my Jetta in for service and buying both vehicles its almost like Matt is family. I plan on buying vehicles for my children there when they start to drive, and I believe I will never go anywhere else I have fallen in love with Volkswagen and very much enjoy the service and the salespeople are phenomenal.
