I decided on Northland VW since it was near my home. I wrote an email to the dealership through their website and in 5 mins, I get a phone call from this pleasant guy, William. He offered to pick me up from my place. William was very professional. He introduced the car I was interested in, the Tiguan and was very thorough with everything. He did his best to give me the best deal. He even went beyond the call of duty. Because he knew I was new in town, he offered me info regarding the best place to shop, dine and play. I was very impressed with the other employees as well. Jared was very prompt in informing me I was approved for financing, Guy was very patient in explaining about the paperwork I needed to sign and Ron made me feel at ease while he introduced the technical aspects of the car. This dealer is the best. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get a VW. More

He equated a few hundred dollars of discount as "free first year maintenance". And he will repeat the phrase a few time in the sales pitch that it created the perception that the first year's maintenance is included. Be careful when dealing with William, he's very sneaky. Looking back, we'd not have bought the car from him for sure. We are relatively intelligent people, so good for him for able to fool us. More
