Hello Samuel. This is Brian Hoecht. I am the General Manager of the dealership. I want you to know that we all do care about your experience and perception of our dealership and your experience. However, some of the statements you made above are just not accurate. The safety certificate requirement for tires matching is that both on the front are the same and both on the back are the same as each other. It is not an all 4 the same requirement. As she purchased a 2009 Journey with 150,000 kms on it in June 2015 for $7,498 + tax (which is the retail price we advertised it for) and 11 months later she was offered $5,000, I don't see how there is an insinuation of taking advantage that is appropriate. Trade-ins are not done at retail value and the vehicle is six months and another model year older now? We replaced the front sway bar links too. If you would like us to look at the struts or assess what the current problem is, we'd be happy to. And I will look at it without the usual diagnostic charge (the $71). After we have a complete assessment by a technician of what the current problem is, we can have a conversation regarding next steps and costs to sort out the concerns with the vehicle. You may call me at the dealership to discuss or arrange a service appointment to come in, but please let me know as well as our Service Manager, Sarah Finlay so that we may get involved personally.
