I would not recommend buying a car from North London Toyota due to their unethical sales practices. I went in two weeks ago to inquire about purchasing a used car and I wanted to document my terrible ex Toyota due to their unethical sales practices. I went in two weeks ago to inquire about purchasing a used car and I wanted to document my terrible experience here. I made an offer on a used Toyota and we could not come to a deal we both agreed upon so I walked away. Two weeks later, the salesman calls me up and informs me that they were having some issue with this other buyer and they would like to take me up on my offer if I was still interested in the vehicle. I said I would be if they would honour my original offer. Later on in the evening, they say they cannot take my offer because it would cause them to lose too much money on the vehicle. Funny, because you're the ones who called me, not the other way around. Although I was slightly perturbed with this, I proceeded to make a counter offer for the vehicle which the salesman entertained for 2 days. We negotiated over minute details before he said he had to speak to the other client (which I didn't understand why until later). He then informs me that he cannot sell me the car because the other client (buyer) had already put down $10000 on the car and had the bill of sale, thus they were not able to back out of that sale until later. He said he would let me know in a few days. So here I thought that I was negotiating in good faith when they were trying to sell me a car that was already sold, which is a complete waste of my time. Especially because I already walked away from the deal and you bring me back in to play stupid games and try to sell me a car that you have no business selling AGAIN. I believe that this behaviour is not only unprofessional but unethical. If you have already sold a vehicle to someone else, do not bother contacting other clients trying to sell them the same vehicle. I will be filing a complaint with OMVIC about your dealership as I don't believe you are forthcoming in your sales practices. Also just in case the other client of a white Toyota Crown is reading this review. I don't know what is going with your deal but know that they are actively trying to renege on it with the $10,000 deposit. More
I would give this a 0 star rating if I could. So, we had bought our Jeep Cherokee a few years back, so when it came time for warrantee work we naturally brought it back to the dealership. What an So, we had bought our Jeep Cherokee a few years back, so when it came time for warrantee work we naturally brought it back to the dealership. What an absolutely nightmare. I was squeezed in, and then was told I missed my appointment (even though my SUV was dropped off at 6am). Brought it in for a clicking noise when I turned. They diagnosed it as a wheel bearing.. I knew this didn't seem right but figured they were the "professionals" . Get my car back 2 days later, ITS STILL MAKING THE SAME SOUND. Call back and try to get ahold on my Service advisor 3 times, tell them that it in fact was NOT wheel bearings and that I would not being paying another diagnostic fee. They agreed and I brought my vehicle back in. This I where the mayhem starts. My vehicle was brought in Wednesday morning at 930 am, I did not hear ANYTHING until Thursday 10 minutes before close. When they informed me that my Jeep was sent to jeep without my knowledge or permission and that they will do the work although Toyota will hold the warrantee order. Which again fine. My jeep was gone for OVER TWO WEEKS. CV axles and control arm. Over the next 2 weeks I called my service advisor 5 times, trying to be understanding that it was around Christmas and New year's. Finally, the Thursday Jan 2 I tried to call 3 times. No response. So I called Jeep myself to see what the status on it was. That is when he informed me that I am NOT ALLOWED to pick up my own car but that THE WORK WAS COMPLETED DECEMBER 23rd!!!! I called a 4th time and requested someone come to the phone, did not care who it was as I was making a point that I would be there the next day by 12 to get my car and it best be there. The next day all the did was offer to wipe down my car as an apology. but in the mean time threw EVERYTHING out of the back of my jeep into the back seat leaving a mess for me to clean up before I could put my son in it. My partner has tried to contact the service manager multiple times to have our concerns heard, and have not heard anything in return, almost 2 weeks later. 0 STAR DO NOT RECOMMEND. We will not be back EVER More
