I knew what car I wanted to buy and had no expectations of a discount. Sales person wasted an hour of my time going back n forth to other offices and computers to end up with a price $5k over MSRP. Contact of a discount. Sales person wasted an hour of my time going back n forth to other offices and computers to end up with a price $5k over MSRP. Contacted Campus Niisan and Victoria and had the car I wanted ordered at MSRP in under 15minutes. More

Put a deposit on a Leaf 3 weeks ago over the phone. I had done some pricing on Car Cost Canada and Unhaggle. The Dealership called me to let me know that they had 5 new Leaf's coming in August. They I had done some pricing on Car Cost Canada and Unhaggle. The Dealership called me to let me know that they had 5 new Leaf's coming in August. They quoted a price which was slightly over MSRP to witch I agreed. I followed up with numerous emails and calls requesting details in writing. They ignored me so today I had a friend drive me to the Dealer. I asked for a copy of the written agreement and confirmation of delivery date and the BC EV Rebate that changed yesterday. They finally came back with a piece of paper upon which was written a price in excess of $4,000 over our agreed upon price. When I showed them their website that showed the MSRP at $6,000 under what they were trying to tell me was my price today they stated that they could not even purchase at less than MSRP!!!! I asked for a refund of my deposit and walked, but in retrospect, I should have left it just in case Nissan Canada would like to correct this injustice!!! More

Aside from financing you over and above what you tell them your comfortable with … this company continues to calls me weekly… even after I asked them NUMEROUS times to remove my name from their sales lis them your comfortable with … this company continues to calls me weekly… even after I asked them NUMEROUS times to remove my name from their sales list. I finally got fed up and said I’m writing a review. I have zero intentions of ever buying from this company again. They came here to Nanaimo from Alberta, bought both Nissan and Mitsubishi here. They focus highly on pressure sales, something I have zero respect for. They purposely crank annoying music so you can’t even think with your own clear mindset. More
My name is Michaela Adams. I am writing this in regards to a complaint about the service and quality of service I have received in the past few years. I have always loved I am writing this in regards to a complaint about the service and quality of service I have received in the past few years. I have always loved Nissan vehicles and when I bought my first one in 2019 I was so excited. However ever since then I have been having nothing but issues with the Nanaimo dealership and I am beyond frustrated with the care and quality of service I have received. I have had 3 big issues since giving my loyalty and business to this particular dealership. This first was when. I brought my car in for a service and I had paid a good amount of extra money to get my vehicle cleaned. I was 7 months pregnant at the time and needed the extra help. When I received my car after the service, it was horrible. It looked as if it was sprayed with water not washed, the seats nor ground was vaccumed. I was quite upset and emotional due to my state. I felt that the gentlemen who returned my car dealt with the situation well. He was profusely sorry, stating that there must have been someone new on. He personally took my vehicle and quickly cleaned it for me. Of course it was not what I paid for nor expected. He made the situation much better, he gave me a free full detail coupon and signed off on it. I felt much better with his customer service. It wasn't his fault but he took it into his hands and resolved it quite well. With how it was dealt with I let it go, since it was resolved in some manner. Or so I thought. The second big issue I had was when we were 'convinced' to trade in our car in 2020. Which wasn't the issue, we do enjoy our new vehicle. The problem that occured right after we signed the papers and were given the keys to our car was that there was a giant crack in the windshield. Straight across the whole thing. Now you may ask why we didn't see this beforehand, I'm not quite sure to be honest but we have 2 month old baby with at the time. Our second child. We were there for hours with a newborn infant and we just wanted to go at this point. We only came in for an oil change and a service originally. They reassured us that since we moved away to Campbell River, a two hour trip from Nanaimo that they would contact us on the Monday after the weekend and get the glass fixed by the dealership in my city. For weeks no one would get back to me, I called once a week at least, I didn't want to bombard anyone but I also needed this resolved. I kept being told that someone would call me back, with no one ever returning my calls. This went on for almost 2 months. At this point I am very frustrated. I finally got ahold of the gentleman who sold us this vehicle and after a week or so I finally got this resolved. Though they wanted me to drive my two children to Nanaimo and get it fixed there since the dealership in town isn't owned by them. I get it, however I couldn't just get up and go do that with my kids. Nor did I have a babysitter. They has told me originally that they would do it in town. The final solution was that they would have to bring me a loaner car and switch out mine, fix it, then return it in the following day. That worked for me, but I was still uneasy with how long this all took to resolve. The third and final problem which is the reason I would never recommend anyone buying or selling anything to the Nanaimo Dealership. It wasn't just this issue, it's probably not even the worst one, but it was the final one. As I stated prior, I live a couple hours away. We needed a service/oil change on our new car. I called and asked if we could also do the free full detail that I was given back in 2019 for the problem. The lady on the phone told me that it would be about a month in order to get both done. Which was fine for us, we needed to find a babysitter. She scheduled it for a Saturday and reassured us it was for a service and the full detail. Our appointment rolls around the corner. We found a babysitter and made our way out there. We hand in our keys and was greeted by the nice lady at the service desk. She informed us with the service and detail our vehicle would be done in a few hours, which was fine with us. We went on to the mall, which was only a few minute walk away. I am 5 months pregnant at this point, so they also offered us a ride which was very nice. But just after we walked to the mall and visited for about an hour or so we receive a phone call that they are done our service but are unable to do our detail.... Which was quite upsetting because we scheduled this appointment strictly in order to do both. They had a new detail employee and said they wouldn't be able to do it fully or properly. Why on earth would they not schedule someone knowing that they had a full detail for today. We made this appointment a month prior. Why on earth were we not informed well before. And why on earth would someone schedule us with intent to do both when they couldn't. I was quite upset. We get back to the dealership and the nice lady was kind, considerate to us, and informed us when we asked politely that he manager wouldn't be in until about 1 pm. We decided to go for lunch and then come back to him to see if we could get our detail done in our town or find another solution. We come back and the nice lady directed us to her immediate left, her manager who I assume was filled in on the situation. Did NOT greet us, didn't even ask how our day was going, nor looked happy in anyway. I wish I got his name because he was horrible. If anyone is able to backdate it, our appointment was on Saturday, the 19th 2021. He dismissed us and when we brought up that we aren't able to come on any other day other than a weekend and that is was we made this appointment far in advance. He replied "I'm not paying someone else to do it" he dismissed us and didn't even ask questions or try to help. At this point I am near tears and I just couldn't believe how inconsiderate someone could be. He is a manager, he should have some customer service skills, but he did not. He was rude when speaking to us, didn't try to resolve the issue other than saying he will call the following business day (he never did) and said he couldn't promise anything and that they probably wouldn't do it. I just can't believe how we have been treated overall in the past few years. More
