May be worth it to pay more at another dealership I took my car in to get a seat belt buckle replaced (common issue) and the guy at the parts counter saved me a bit of money which I was happy about. Unfortunately it took them over 90 minutes to do this simple replacement which I found strange. After I paid for the service I went to drive away and saw a bunch of candy wrappers scattered on my floor. Then I grabbed my steering wheel and saw it was covered in shop grease/oil. I might take my business up island to have any further service done due to the disgusting state they left my vehicle in after such a simple service job. More

New hybrid battery For 6 months I repeatedly took my Honda into the service department because the hybrid battery was not working and was told it was okay. Finally they agreed it was not working but by then it was out of warrenty. We paid $3000 for the new battery which from the start was also not working properly, not holding a charge, not assisting, not auto stopping. After being told repeatedly by the dealership and also Honda customer relationship Canada that it is okay and knowing that it is not, I am now the proud owner of a Mazda. More

Ope ing up someone else mail is a criminal offence. Also looked at a new var. The ad was on top of the ROOF of the car I wanted. they said that car is not available. I asked when the car would be available. He said 3 months. I asked them to call me when the car came in. The care never cam in . The advertising price is a fraud. I would pay more and go to another dealership I came Nanaimo from Vancovuer as they had a specific car I wanted to buy. I recieved none of the after sales service I was promised and couldn't come I came Nanaimo from Vancovuer as they had a specific car I wanted to buy. I recieved none of the after sales service I was promised and couldn't come to the dealership. I bought my car from a dealer in order to get a warranty etc (which i was told was good in any honda dealership in Vancouver) and in 18 months since I bought the car I haven't been able to get any Honda dealer to honour my warranty or for Nanaimo Honda to return my calls. I currently have an issue with my Drive Train and I will have to pay for it completely by myself. Once I pay for it I can then persue Nanaimo Honda through the Small Claims Court but this will obviously take time. I would strongly recommend anyone to avoid this dealership no matter how good the 'deal' you're being offered. They are completely dishonest and if I could do it over I would have paid more and went with a reputable dealer. Please don't make the mistake I made. They are beyond criminal. More

I have serviced my 2009 Honda over the past 4 years with you. I spent over $300 dollars on Feb. 28 to have my car tuned up. 4 days later the engine light came on. I returned to have you look at it. After an hour & another computer analysis there was clear confusion as to why the light came on. It was recommended I carry on as usual due to the confusion. I was charged $85. As a customer with a solid record with your service department I felt that there should have been some consideration to charging me for this additional service. I am really discouraged by your service. More

Nanaimo Honda - unethical, shady and no integrity....... turned about a 9/10 to a 1/10 at deal close. Sealed the deal 31 Jan 2012 gave credit card number for deposit, got the whole "congratulations, you ar turned about a 9/10 to a 1/10 at deal close. Sealed the deal 31 Jan 2012 gave credit card number for deposit, got the whole "congratulations, you are now the proud new owner......". Incentive changed from $3500 ==> $4000 for Feb and I asked to re-negotiate. The response was, "sorry, this deal was for January under the January incentive program." Ok, I can live with and respect that...... but then they turned on a dime, delayed and did paperwork for February 1, had me redo deposit in house 1 February and they walked off with the extra $500 for the new incentive. They even scoffed and confessed that I would not have received the deal I got without them knowing that the incentive was going to change in their favor. I will not go into the staff and their very inappropriate side conversations, not intended to be overheard, slamming and laughing at other customers.......$500 is not much compared to the deal I received, but the being "had" by the dealership in such a fashion...... for shame. More

Took my car that I CHERISH to this dealer for the first time. They could've tried to sell me brakes, rotors, and/or bearings but didn't.
