So back to MyCar in North Bay, same owner as Ottawa. Told they were in no way responsible, said the car was involved in an "incident" but there had not been damage, so to a two week old customer, was told its buyer beware when you purchase a used vehicle. This comment from the salesman who sold my daughter the car. Read their website, and then tell yourself, this was written by a "used car salesman", which means it's obviously bull#€^%. If you want to buy from them, I dare you to ask them where your car was purchased. Out of province...... More

They said with the extended warranty which was 2,000 dollars you can phone the company and there are places in Ottawa that you can take your car to when it breaks down the first week you have it, not true, you have to have it towed back to Richmond. Covers towing, only 50 dollar, that will hook up the car to the tow truck, you pay the rest. Covers car rental, well only when they are actually working on the car and the car can sit there for a week and a half to 2 weeks before they get a chance to look at it, told that by their service department. I could go on and on but hopefully when you read this you will think twice. If you decide the buy from them PLEASE read the contract VERY VERY carefully. More

WORST DEALERSHIP EVER! don't go here.. worst experience ever -- check your contracts people, they will tell you, you have 10 days to cancel 'gap insurance' which is under protection in your worst experience ever -- check your contracts people, they will tell you, you have 10 days to cancel 'gap insurance' which is under protection in your contract, but when you call they will not call you back, then you have to harass them(it seems like) then 10 days has expired and they will tell you its past 10 days. (1750$) they will add life insurance even though you don't want and tell you it can only be cancelled in 90 days (which is xxxxxxxxx!!!) (which is almost 1500$) They don't listen to customers concerns, they actually blame you for everything!!! its your fault this, its your fault that! and then I got the GM from Mycar calling me and telling me he does not want to listen to me anymore and hung up on me... all I can is WOOOW! the people i dealt with are: James Morphy (sales rep), Marcel Trinaistich, Tony El-Sabeh and the biggest disappointment is Carrie Erving (GM)!!! don't go here, its not worth the hassle! I came in to look at the vehicle and Erik was very helpful without being over bearing. He gave me the keys and let me inspect the car as much as I pleased. He was even willing to let me test-drive alone if I preferred. He never pressurised me but was very open and honest about the vehicle, its condition, what they would and wouldn't be able to do to it and he explained my options for the enhanced customer package. Erik Lloyd was a great salesman to work with. I was however surprised at the inclusion of a $600 "finance service fee" for them to arrange financing and shocked at the initial 14.9% interest rate. That was reduced with the purchase of gap insurance and 2yr extended warranty. I ended up backing out of the deal. But I would highly recommend working with Erik Lloyd if you are needing a used car. MyCar also has the best prices around for used cars, but rather come with your own financing in place beforehand. More

I initially went for one car but wasn't 100% on it - Erik didn't try to pressure me into buying it but instead respected where I was coming from and worked with me to find what I did want. Several weeks later, they received a car that matched my wants/needs perfectly and he contacted me before it hit their lot. I came in the moment it arrived and it's parked in my driveway right now. With all of the used Mazda 3's in Ottawa, why did I drive from Orleans to Richmond (50 minutes) to buy from Erik Lloyd at MyCar? Integrity and their non-complex process of buying a car - from the set pricing (which was actually below their "competition" for comparable Mazda's) and the no pressure atmosphere, buying was beyond simple. 100% recommended... I LOVE how they do NOT throw in all these extra "fees" at the end. I had an excellent experience dealing with them for my car purchase. Mike F. was very friendly and I never felt that he was trying to pressure or take advantage. The car was delivered on time and nice and clean (although it was pretty clean to begin with...). There only small issue was that there was only 1 person manning the dealership sales department on Sunday which meant waiting around a bit for help. I noticed other walk-in customers that didn't get helped in a timely manner after they showed up, so they seemed frustrated, but otherwise I would definitely recommend buying a car from MyCar in the future. 2010 Nissan Versa with 18,000kms and like new. Car was great, sales transaction was great. I decided to purchase the car on the condition that the broken front spring be replaced. They replaced it howe great, sales transaction was great. I decided to purchase the car on the condition that the broken front spring be replaced. They replaced it however with a strut/spring assembly from another Versa with 70,000+kms. Spring was fixed, but the strut bearings were seized. I had them replaced and now it was out of alignment. I notified them but unfortunately after making contacts on 3 different occasions they refused to acknowledge the problem or to either perform an alignment or pay the $99 for me to have it done. I certainly will not be a return customer. Unfortunate, because for the sake of standing behind their product and at a cost of $99, they've lost a future customer and lost good word of mouth advertising. More
