Within a very short amount of time I was contacted by Jeffre, who gave me information about the truck and answered my questions honestly. I made the long trek out to Alberta (10 hours) to look and this vehicle and to see if I liked it enough to bring it home. This truck was amazing. Jeffre and Justin made my purchase of this vehicle easy and before I knew it I was heading back to BC with a new truck. I would like to stress the integrity of this particular dealership. I have never dealt with any other like it. Shortly after my purchase I had a small minor issue with the truck. The people at this dealership made sure that they were the one's to solve the issue for me even though I was a 1000 km away. I think buying a vehicle these days, most customers are fairly educated about what they want, and likely price points. The sale is easy here, no real hassles and not a pressure-filled haggling process. In this case, I told Thomas what I wanted (literally a "See this one? I want this one." situation). They assessed my trade in value, and brought me an offer-to-purchase sheet with a number on it that was more than fair, showed me the factory incentives on top of that number... yeah, deal. It's that easy. The "back room" where they want to sell you stuff (this is by and large where dealers make their money - the vehicles often don't bring them a ton) is typical, but it's real friendly, and you just have to say "No, I don't want that." or "For that money I'd rather have X". I was not rushed, in fact Wayne encouraged me to go home for the weekend and do the actual deal the next week. Finished the deal with Justin and got the options/upgrades that made sense. Truck was delivered with the right equipment and was ready when they said it would be - critical for me because I literally took my tools out of the old truck, put them in the new one and went back to work. Truck = life. The actual reason I went back is that this dealership totally screwed up a service job on my old truck. I won't go into details, but what happened was I towed the truck up there, and got the "We'll have a look at it". I was ready to fight. An hour later they phoned and said "Yeah, well, we screwed this up and we'll fix it for you ASAP." This to me is more important than handshakes and hugs on a new vehicle... you get that anywhere. Show me a situation where a service tech makes an error and the dealership does NOT run the customer in circles, and I get real interested in doing business again. No one is perfect. No service center never makes a mistake. How you proceed once the mistake is made - that's real important, and these guys owned up. Warranty issues - same thing. I tore the parking brake handle out of my truck one morning. It was cold and something just broke. Now, they easily could have said that it was abuse and not covered. Instead, the service advisor said that being under 3 years and 60,000, the thing was covered. Didn't matter if I was a bozo or if the part was defective. I think these folks try to live up to their "Serving with Integrity" motto. More
