Car salesman get a bad rap, but this one made a genuine and lasting impression on me. He was honest, fair, friendly, intuitive and quiet when he needed to be to let his customers (me, my hubby AND my dad!) communicate, ready and knowledgeable in an instant to provide information as needed. He listened to my NEEDS and WANTS and helped me into something that more than satisfied both, and was more vehicle than I thought possible for myself (especially for my first NEW car!). Jarod took what could have been an extremely nerve-wracking experience, and turned it into...(dare I say it?)...FUN! I worked for Chrylser as a student in University and believe their products sell themselves in many ways, but what Jarod did was earn our trust and friendship, beyond just business.. and you just instantly get this vibe that he is a very genuine person... my family still raves about the service he has given us. I hope Motor City knows what a gem they have in him as an employee. He has earned our business for life. I wish I could give him a higher rating than the five stars possible on this site, because he deserves it. Thanks again Jarod! More

Dealing with Ruby was truly a delight! Let's be honest, nobody likes getting their credit checked, no matter how good your credit history is. Steady Decline in Service I had purchased a Dodge Caravan CVP in 2014 and wasn't happy with it. I wanted other options. After looking for a few months, I came across a Motor I had purchased a Dodge Caravan CVP in 2014 and wasn't happy with it. I wanted other options. After looking for a few months, I came across a Motor City Chrysler sale at Devonshire Mall. I met Rick and he was very nice and accommodating. The sale hadn't even started yet, but he took some time to show me a Town and Country with everything in it that I wanted. I was sold right then and there. I went back the next to make the deal official. I originally wanted a white van, but wanted heated seats. They had one van with heated seats and it was black. I didn't want aftermarket options, I wanted the ones from the factory. So, I decided the options were better than the colour, so I pick the black van. A few days later I go to the dealership to pick up my van. I was so excited! I start playing with the automatic doors, looking at the DVD player. I sit in the front seat, excited to finally be able to push a button to warm my tush...it's not there. I turned to him and said "where's the heated seats?" He said 'what heated seats?, you didn't get that'. Like xxxx I didn't! I picked the black one for that specific reason. I said this isn't the right van. The one at the mall had factory heated seats and steering wheel. I was then told by another worker they didn't have any with heated seats, they hadn't had any for months. We walked through the parking lot to a black Town and Country (with a yellow sticker on it from the mall) and low and behold, it has heated seats, that was the van I was supposed to get. Rick tells me the van they got ready for me has navigation. I didn't want navigation, I wanted heated seats. To make a long story short, I didn't want to leave and have to come back, I thought maybe navigation would be a nice feature so I chose to take the one they got ready for me and have the heated seats installed (aftermarket). I also had a huge inconvenience in taking my 3 kids and another family member with me with their vehicle to Factory Auto Sound so I wouldn't be without for a day. I also had to make arrangements to have my own windows tinted and bring my van in. I also had to call Rick just to make sure they didn't forget to put the remote start in. They were also supposed to renew my license plate sticker, charged me $120 on my bill for it. I only noticed it wasn't done while Rick was attaching my license plate that they didn't do it, so I had to and I paid $108. The 'check was in the mail' according to Rick. Never came. When I went today to get my windows tinted, I got a check for $104. I asked for a few free oil changes while trying to organize a day for the tint. He said 'Why?'...Really??? I said for the aggravation and inconveniences. He told me no, he couldn't do that. All in all, I love the van I got. I love the navigation (and will get it on future vehicles) and the aftermarket heated seats are not as 'cheesy' as I thought they would be. It is a great price ($100/month cheaper than another dealership I wen to) and Iove the options in it. However, the customer service was just a steady decline from the time I went to pick the van up. I'm not one to get angry and upset, people make mistakes, things happen. However, I work in customer service and have to kiss a** to people. This deal and the mistakes were greatly minimized and caused me to be greatly inconvenienced with NO compensation, not even a simple oil change. I have purchased about 5 brand new vehicles before and have never had one problem with the delivery of the vehicle. For these reasons, I will not return to Motor City Chrysler for any warranty work (dealerships make a lot of money on warranty work), or future purchases. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
